Adam talks to Victor about the Beauty of Nature line. He wants to hire a new spokesperson for the line. As the two of them talk, Adam and Victor begin to build a small bond.
Gloria accuses Jeff of trying to hurt her by loosening the banister at the Abbott mansion. Jeff acts innocent, but Gloria knows he tampered with the banister. Jeff wants Gloria to consummate the marriage, but Gloria is disgusted at the idea.
After Gloria leaves the room, Jeff makes a call, telling someone he and Gloria will move into their new house within the week.
While Jack meets with Eric at Forester, Ashley and Sharon talk. Ashely inquires about how Sharon feels about Jack and Phyllis working together. Sharon says she isn't worried.
Jack is surprised when he finds out that Forester will not be advertising in the new magazine, and he suspects Victor has something to do with it.
Gloria talks with Kevin at the coffeehouse. Kevin tells his mother that Jeff's Korean girlfriend is on her way to Genua City, and that she believes Jeff wants to marry her. Jeff finds Gloria and Kevin talking at the coffeehouse and insists Gloria come home so they can consummate their marriage.
Adam discusses his ideas about the Beauty of Nature line with Victoria. Victoria does not like the idea of hiring a new spokesperson, but Victor tells her to give Adam a chance.
Ashely promises Jack that she will talk to Eric about why Forester is not advertising in the magazine.
Phyllis and Nick talk about all the money they are spending on the magazine. Both are anticipating good news from Jack regarding Forester.
Gloria plays along with Jeff because she believes his Korean girlfriend is on the way. Jeff tries to lead Gloria to the bedroom, but Gloria tells him she messed with the stairs as well. While Jeff goes to look at what Gloria has done, she leaves with Kevin
Jack calls Nick to tell him Forester turned them down. Nick refuses to give up on the venture, however.
Victoria is called away from work, as Reed comes down with a fever.
Adam is left to run the meeting with the ad executives, which don't take well to him. He tells them Victoria is behind all of his decisions.
The pediatrician comes to visit Reed at home and tells Victoria and J.T. that Reed has a staph infection and that he needs to be in a hospital.
Adam bumps into Phyllis at the GCAC after his meeting. She invites him to join her and Nick for dinner.
Victor goes to the ranch to visit Victoria and Reed, but finds an empty house. As he is headed out, Sabrina appears at Victoria's door.

Karen Sings at Indigo!
Phyllis wonders aloud whether Nick should have borrowed from his trust to fun the magazine. Daniel comes into the warehouse and tells Nick and Phyllis how much he likes it. He also thanks Phyllis for the job she's given him.
Amber joins Nick, Phyllis, and Daniel at the warehouse. She inquires about working at the magazine. Phyllis is hesitant to give her a job, but Amber says she'll do anything to work there. Nick and Phyllis finally agree to give her a receptionist job.
Niel encourages Adam to get to know people in Genua City. He tells him he should come to Indigo to meet people.
Adam and Victoria are talking about the Beauty of Nature projections when J.T. comes in and tells Victoria they are going to Indigo tonight. Victoria is apprehensive about leaving Reed.
Jill and Chloe go over Lilly's preliminary shots with her. Chloe is very harsh. Nikki, Jill, and Cane all think Lily has real potential and that she has some great shots in the bunch. They try to get Chloe to be less harsh on Lilly.
Chloe continues to be harsh on Lily, and Lilly gets discouraged, telling Cane she can't seem to do anything right.
Niel calls Lily to tell her Karen will be singing at Indigo tonight and Lilly really wants to go, but she's afraid Chloe won't allow it. Cane points out that Chloe isn't Lilly's boss and he thinks going to Indigo is a great idea.
Jack pitches his magazine idea to Eric Forester. Eric points out that Victor has been a long-time enemy of Jack's, but Jack assures him Victor is not connected to the magazine. After the meeting, Eric calls Victor, and Victor tells him he thinks the magazine is a terrible idea.
Victor and Nikki run into each other at the GCAC and decide to eat dinner together. Nikki asks about Adam and then tries to talk to Victor about Nick. Victor comments that they should have eaten separately and leaves.
J.T. calls Nick and invites him and Phyllis to go to Indigo with him and Victoria. Nick is reluctant to go, but Phyllis tells J.T. they will be there.
At Indigo, Chloe asks Cane if he thinks it's inappropriate to be dating a model. When he tries to get her to be less harsh on Lily, she refuses.
At Indigo Nick gets a message that the alarms are going off in the warehouse. As he is headed out to check on things, Adam walks into the club. He flirts with Phyllis. When Phyllis returns to the table, Victoria tells her that Adam is her half-brother. Phyllis is surprised to hear this news.

Adam Continues to Flirt with Phyllis
Sharon and Jack are preparing for their trip to L.A. Gloria and Jeff see their bags and believe they are moving out. Jack tells them they are only going on a vacation and they haven't given up. Gloria is disappointed.
J.T. and Victoria get ready to head to Newman for the day when Victoria tells J.T. that she called the nurse and told her they are going to take Reed to work with them. J.T. isn't thrilled that Victoria went against his wishes to leave Reed at home until he is older, but later, when they are at Newman, J.T. admits he likes having Reed there with them.
Victor calls Nick to warn him about starting a magazine. Nick tells him he cannot control his life anymore and hangs up on him.
Adam flirts with Phyllis when he sees her in the gym. Phyllis flirts back.
Phyllis drops some papers off for Jack at the Abot mansion for his meeting. When he leaves the room to take a call, Phyllis asks Sharon if she has talked to Jack about leaving the foundation yet. Sharon says she hasn't because she doesn't want to disappoint Jack. Jack overhears her say this and inquires what is going on.
Daniel asks Amber to go to a concert with him, but Amber says she can't. Daniel is confused by Amer's behavior and confronts her about it. He ends up telling Amber to call him when she can handle being his friend and hanging out with him again.
Jana tries to get Kevin to help her set up Daniel and Amber, but Kevin tells her not to meddle in other people's business.
Gloria calls Kevin and tells him she doesn't feel safe alone in the Abot mansion. She goes to visit Kevin at the coffeehouse and tries to convince Kevin to move into the mansion while Jack and Sharon are out of town. Kevin turns her down, telling her he has his own life.
Victor tells Adam he can work on the Beauty of Nature project with Victoria. After Adam leaves the room, Victor comments that Adam is hard-working and intelligent and that he likes that.
Victor confronts Nick at the gym. He tells him he didn't appreciate being hung up on. He wants Nick to meet Adam, but Nick wants nothing to do with him.
In the GCAC Nick and Adam meet and Nick is not happy about it. He tells Adam that Victor fired him, and Adam is shocked at the news. He asks Victor if he fired Nick before or after he knew he was coming to work for him. Adam begins to realize the Newman family relationships are complicated.
Victoria tells J.T. she wants to give Adam a chance. J.T. suggests they invite him to dinner to get to know him better and Victoria says this is a good idea.
