Tyra and Karen Face Off in Court

Cane shows up at Jill's table at the GCAC and surprises her. He tells her Michael says he has a real shot at getting custody of Delia. Jill asks what time the hearing is and wishes Cane luck. Cane asks his mother if she's talked to Katherine, and Jill tells him she hasn't and she doesn't expect to either because Kay fired her from Chancellor. Cane wonders what is next for his mother, and Jill informs him she has a plan, but won't tell him what it is until its a sure thing.

Katherine and Mac sit out on the patio at the coffeehouse in silence. Finally, Katherine tells Mac about the latest round with Jill and they begin to discuss misunderstandings. Mac alludes to her situation with Billy. Kay tells Mackenzie she thought Chloe had an agenda initially and told her about the first time Cane brought her over to meet them. She tells Mackenzie how Esther dropped the tray she was carrying when she laid eyes on her daughter and how they all realized in that moment that Chloe was actually Kate. Katherine goes on to say that Chloe has made some bad decisions in her lifetime, but both she and Billy love Cordelia. Kay says the best thing Billy can do for Cordelia is to lover her mother, and Mac thinks about this.

Billy is dreaming of Mackenzie as he is awakened to Cordelia crying and Chloe requesting that he get her. Once they are both up, Chloe brings up the subject of Mac and how she's decided to stay in town. Billy admits he ran into her last night at the bookstore when he went to get the nursery rhyme books for Cordelia. Chloe asks Billy why he didn't tell her about his encounter last night, and he says he didn't feel it was important enough to wake her up for. Chloe begins to panic about the possibility of losing Cordelia and tries to find the perfect outfit for her daughter to wear to court. She wonders what she and Billy are going to do if they lose Cordelia. Chloe suddenly announces that she needs to go somewhere and leaves Billy to finish dressing Cordelia.

Karen and Neil are at Newman with Ana. She asks if her mom will be at the adoption hearing and Karen says she probably will be because it's an important day. Neil thinks about how he helped Tyra get her own lawyer to file her own adoption petition. Devon arrives and asks Ana where she wants to go while Karen and Neil are in court. She wants to go to the coffeehouse, so she and Devon leave. Victoria enters the room and asks Neil to see Victor. When Neil leaves, Victoria remarks that Karen doesn't seem as excited as she had expected on Ana's adoption hearing date.

Victor talks with Neil about the new fragrance line and how he expects the Board of Directors to pass it. Neil is distracted. He tells Victor that today is Ana's adoption hearing and that no matter what the outcome is, someone is going to get hurt. He says that only one woman can be Ana's legal mother and the other woman will have her heart broken. He also admits to Victor that he's made some bad decisions recently.

At Indigo, Lily confronts Tyra about sleeping with her father and hiring a lawyer behind Karen's back to file her own adoption petition. Ana and Devon walk in and Ana gives Tyra a poem she wrote about what a great mom she is! Lily pulls Devon aside and demands to know why he didn't tell her about Neil and Tyra. Devon says he wanted to tell her, but didn't know how. He watches Ana and Tyra interact and remarks that this is how it should be.

J.T. reports to Victor. Victor wants to know how the digging on Colleen is going, and J.T. says he doesn't think Colleen has done a thing wrong in her life! Victor demands that J.T. keep digging to find something to get Colleen out of her board seat as soon as possible. J.T. wonders if Victoria knows what Victor is doing, and Victor says of course she doesn't know! Victor demands that J.T. not tell her, either. As J.T. leaves Victor's office, Victoria comes in. Victor tells Victoria that she's going to head up the new fragrance line, and Victoria is pleased.

Karen, Neil, and Rafe sit in the courtroom when the judge asks if the other petitioner is coming. Karen is confused. Tyra walks in with her lawyer and sits down. Neil appears to be uncomfortable and Karen looks at him, shocked. Karen wants to know if Neil knew about this and if he helped Tyra file a petition. Neil mutters that he thought it was the right thing to do. Rafe stands up and tells the judge about how Neil and Dru adopted Devon and helped him turn his life around. Neil and Karen express their intention to adopt Ana and to give her a good, stable home. The judge tells Neil and Karen that she will have no problem granting their petition! Tyra's lawyer tells the judge everything Tyra has done for Ana from the time she was a teenager. She asks the judge to consider that in making her decision because Tyra wants to legally adopt Ana now that Yolanda's parental rights have been terminated. Karen and Tyra have a yelling match, and the judge calls for order. Rafe apologizes for his client's outburst. The judge requests to speak to Ana to find out how Ana feels about living with each party. Neil calls Devon to have him bring Ana to the courthouse.

Cane runs into Katherine at Jabot. She tells Cane that Jill's things being boxed up and her being fired was a misunderstanding. She tells him that Mitchell Sherman ordered that change - not her. She tells Cane not to tell Jill about this yet though because she believes they need some time apart. Cane asks Kay if he is going to be fired from his job, and Katherine tells him he is only going to move upstairs to take his place in his father's company - Chancellor Industries. Katherine wants Cane to be CEO, but he tells her that while he appreciates the offer he has to decline because of what is going on with his mom. He tells Katherine to tell the Abbott family he quit Jabot.

Jill finds Mackenzie in the coffeehouse and wants to know why she stayed in town. Mac tells her she knows Billy is taken. Jill tells Mac that Billy is completely off-limits to which Mac replies she isn't the one with a history of going after married men! An angry Jill walks away.

Lily, Devon, and Ana go to the bookstore. Billy and the baby appear at the bookstore as well and Billy asks Lily if he can talk to her. He says he knows they never really broke up, but he's sorry about the way things ended between them. He says he's a better person for having met her and he hopes someday they can be friends again. Billy wants to know if Lily can get through to Cane about Delia - she should be with her parents. Devon appears and tells Lily that they need to get to the courthouse - Neil just called.

Chloe is at a church praying. She says she knows she's done some rotten things. She begs God not to punish her daughter for the mistakes she's made. She says Cordelia needs her and she needs Cordelia, too.

Victoria meets J.T. at the coffeehouse and tells J.T. how she has been put in charge of the new fragrance line. She says she hopes the board passes it, but she isn't sure about the wild card - Colleen. She says she hopes that everything goes well and that Colleen and Victor don't get into it at the board meeting, messing everything up.

Jill finds Victor at Newman and offers herself for his service. Victor laughs and tells her he already has a great team of employees. Victor says he's not interested in hiring her. Jill says Jack has been wondering who bought the Jabot stock, and she threatens to tell Ashley Victor bought it. Victor doesn't care - he tells her to take up needlepoint because she's going to have a lot of spare time on her hands.

Ana arrives at the courthouse and takes the witness stand in the courtroom. The judge asks her about her life and activities with Neil and Karen versus Tyra. Ana says she loves all of them, but Tyra is her mother. Ana goes over to hug her mom, and the judge requests she go back into the hallway to wait with Devon for a little bit. The judge tells everyone she will make a decision soon and puts the court in recess. Karen wants to know who's side Neil is on! The judge comes back and says she hopes all of the petitioners can work together for Ana's best interest - it is good to have a lot of people who love you around you. She says she's decided to grant Neil and Karen the legal right to adopt Ana. Karen is relieve and Tyra cries. Neil stands up suddenly and asks the judge to wait - he has something he wants to say!

Chloe sees Mac at the coffeehouse and tells her that she and Billy are married now and that Mac better not be staying around because she hopes she can have Billy back - she says Billy is not interested in going backwards. Billy walks in and hears Chloe. He asks Chloe what the heck she is doing?!

Chloe and Billy Rehearsal Dinner Disaster

Sharon gets a call from Jack in her room at the Club. He asks her if she's ready and if she wants him to swing by and pick her up for the rehearsal dinner. Sharon tells Jack she is going to bail on the rehearsal dinner. She says it's a family thing and she doesn't belong there. Jack tells her that she will always be family, whether they are divorced or not, and he isn't going to take, "no," for an answer.

Chloe and Billy get ready for the rehearsal dinner in the pool house. Chloe is still trying to find a Maid of Honor for her wedding, but can't get any of her jet-setting friends to come on such short notice. Billy suggests they move the wedding back a couple of weeks, but Chloe reminds him he said they should get married as soon as possible for Cordelia's sake.

Ashley gets ready to go to the rehearsal dinner at the Ranch. Victor offers to go with her, but she doesn't feel like trying to play peacemaker between him and Jack. Abby comes downstairs and tells her mother she is going to hang out with Victor. She asks Victor to go out to dinner with her since he sent the chef home for the night. Adam comes into the room with his lawyer and says he'd love to join them for dinner, but his leash doesn't reach that far. Victor remarks that it's better than being caged up.

Esther informs Jill she has invited Katherine and her fiance to the wedding. Jill is shocked and appalled that Esther would invite those con artists to the wedding. Esther tells her Katherine is coming back. Jill tells Esther she is headed to bed and won't be attending the rehearsal dinner, saying Billy isn't talking to her. Esther tells Jill she will always be his mother and she should really go to the rehearsal dinner to support him.

Murphy brings Katherine her pills in the trailer. They talk about the rehearsal dinner and the wedding. Murphy remarks that he will probably get lost in her big mansion when they move in. Katherine tells him she'll come find him. Murphy says he'll be happy living anywhere with her.

Noah talks with Eden on his cell phone at Crimson Lights. He learns that she is baby-sitting Cordelia and says he has to go. He finds his mother in the coffee ship who offers to buy him a cup of coffee. Noah apologizes for this morning, he was just caught off guard by her moving again and he understands why she did it. Sharon tells Noah about the rehearsal dinner at Jack's, and Noah offers to go with her for moral support. Sharon takes him up on the offer, telling him how much she appreciates that.

Jill arrives at the Abbott mansion for the rehearsal dinner. The topic of Katherine comes up right away, and Jack and Ashley both get on her for not believing she is alive. Chloe and Billy come into the room and thank Jill for the interesting wedding gift of a pink slip. Esther comes into the room as well, and remarks how they will all soon be one big happy family. Jill utters, "Kill me now." She looks at something John owned and remarks on how he loved it. Jack wonders what his dad would think of Jill now. Colleen comes into the room, and Jill announces she is heading out to the pool house to see Cordelia. Chloe stops her. Ashley says she really likes Chloe! Colleen confronts Billy again about marrying Chloe. Sharon and Noah arrive for the rehearsal dinner, and Billy isn't thrilled to see them. He tries to put on a good front for Noah, but once Noah is gone, he tells Sharon not to come to the wedding tomorrow, and she says she won't. Chloe approaches Sharon and asks her to be her Matron of Honor. Sharon hesitates, saying she promised a friend she'd be somewhere else tomorrow, but Jack thinks this is a great idea. Sharon finally agrees, and Billy is not pleased about this.

Victor and Abby eat at the coffeehouse. She remarks that she feels bad for Adam - she has tried to walk around with her eyes closed and it's really hard. She tells Victor she never knows what to say to Adam. Victor tells her not to worry about Adam.

Rafe brings Adam the things he left at the prison. He tells Adam that there is a letter from Victor in the pile and asks if anyone has read it to him. Adam says no one has, but he guesses it is more of the same old stuff Victor always says. Rafe tells Adam he thinks Adam should hear the letter, so he reads it to him. The letter says this could be a learning experience for Adam if he lets it be, and that Victor loves him, and will always be his son. Adam says maybe there is hope. Abby and Victor return from dinner, and Adam asks Abby if she likes opera. Abby tells him she likes it if she isn't listening to it! Adam then says they have something in common - neither of them knew Victor was their father. He asks her what she is hoping the baby will be - boy or girl. Abby says she doesn't care. Adam asks her if she'll be jealous if it's a girl, and Abby says she doesn't think so. Adam offers her the chance to talk to him about anything, saying he wants to be more than brother and sister, he wants to be friends. Adam heads upstairs, and Victor returns to see if he needs any help. Adam says he is fine, and that he really appreciates what Victor is doing for him, even though he doesn't show it much. He says, "Night, Dad," as he climbs the stairs.

Jack makes a toast to the soon-to-be-married couple. Jill says she has something to say, and tells Billy she loves him. Billy asks her if this means he can have his job back, to which Jill is silent. Sharon wants to find a way out of being Chloe's Matron of Honor, and asks her if Ashley would be a better choice for the job. Chloe tells Sharon she's pregnant and probably won't fit into the dress! Sharon turns to Colleen, but Colleen says no one wants to be in the wedding, least of all the groom. Talk then turns to Chloe and Billy possibly moving to New York for work. Jack asks Jill if she really wants to see Billy move away, but she says Billy is simply making idle threats. Jill says it's this kind of immaturity that made her fire Billy as CEO, and made Chloe pick Cane over him in the first place. Everyone at the table begins to argue until Ashley begins to yell to get everyone to be quiet. She tells them that they might not like it, but tomorrow they will all be family, and they need to learn to deal with it for Cordelia's sake.

Noah sneaks out of the rehearsal dinner and goes to see Eden in the pool house. Eden says Cordelia has been sleeping the whole time, but every time she and Noah try to kiss, the baby fusses. Sharon shows up at the pool house and begins to yell at Noah for being with Eden when they are not supposed to be together. Noah becomes angry, defending Eden - she wasn't the one who put the stolen books into their bag. Sharon says they'll talk about it when they get home, but Noah asks her if she even knows where she's sleeping tonight! He tells her that just because her life is a mess and she is out of control, she cannot control his life.

Jill tells Billy she is leaving. She says that when his marriage fails, she will still be there for him. Colleen tells Billy she'll see him tomorrow, and leaves. Jack thanks Ashley for defending Chloe, and Sharon comes back into the room and tells Jack she is headed back to the Club. Billy bids her good night as Jack walks her out. Chloe leaves with Esther and the baby for the Chancellor mansion. She says nothing has been traditional about this process so far, but she'll give Billy the night before the wedding. When Jack and Ashley are alone, Ashley says she felt a little bad for Jill. She also tells Jack she is worried about Billy and asks Jack if he remembers how his first marriage turned out.

Jill arrives at the trailer as Murphy and Katherine are playing Scrabble. She says she's come because Brock told her to. Jill immediately starts an argument with her as to whether she is Katherine or Marge. They tells Jill Katherine has Lyme disease, but Jill accuses her of injecting herself with it! She also believes Murphy is a con artist. When Jill insults Murphy, Katherine becomes very angry, telling her Murphy is one of the kindest people there are. Murphy questions why Jill doesn't want her mother back, but she tells them that they planned on feeding off of everyone's grief over Katherine's death. Jill demands to know what Murphy wants -- the keys to the Chancellor mansion? Katherine defends Murphy again. Katherine tells Jill all of her money has made her more vindictive and meaner, and she's ashamed of her. Katherine confronts her about firing Billy. Jill orders her to stay away from the wedding and her family. Katherine refuses, saying she was invited to the wedding and she wants mints in her pillow! Jill tells her she will stay in her mother's room over her dead body, and Katherine tells her not to tempt her! Jill leaves when Katherine threatens to arrest her for trespassing. After Jill leaves, Katherine tells Murphy Jill brings out the worst in her, and that tomorrow everyone will know who she really is.

Esther and Chloe arrive at the Chancellor mansion and Esther is excited for her daughter, telling her she is finally getting everything she deserves. Chloe holds Cordelia and tells her things like this don't happen to her, but it's true, tomorrow she will marry Delia's daddy. She vows to make Billy very happy.

Sharon is at Jimmy's drinking vodka tonics. Billy comes in and begins to drink as well. Their eyes lock. They go back to Sharon's room at the Club and begin to make love.

Eden and Noah go to the coffeehouse and try to kiss on the patio, but they are interrupted by the waitress. They complain that they cannot get a minute alone. Noah suggests they take a little vacation, but where? He tries to think while Eden continues to kiss him. He says that she isn't helping him think! The waitress returns with their hot chocolate, and Noah says he's thinking fast.

Billy Believes Katherine Is Alive

The Young and the Restless update for Tuesday March 10, 2009:

Nikki arrives at Nick and Phyllis’ to baby-sit Summer. Vicki calls and tells Nick about the explosion. Nikki tells them she’s heard about Victor’s announcement. Nick informs her that there’s been an explosion and that the woman calling herself Katherine is in the hospital. Nikki chooses to focus on the fact that Amber, Esther, and Gloria are all right, and insists she is not upset. She tells Nick and Phyllis to go enjoy their evening.

At the ranch, Victor and Ashley are being affectionate with one another. Ashley tells Victor she’s glad he had his vasectomy reversed and that the baby is a miracle. Victor tells Ashley the fact that they found one another is a miracle as well. Ashley reminds Victor that she was told she could not conceive after she lost Robert and begins to worry that something bad will happen to the baby. Victor reassures her that nothing is going to happen. He asks her to marry him. Estella comes in and asks if they would like any tea.

At the coffeehouse, Jill calls Cane to fill him in on what happened to Esther. She tells him that imposter is at the hospital, and Cane says he’ll head over there to check on Esther. When Jill hangs up, Jack asks her if she’s sure the woman isn’t actually her mother. Jill tells Jack she’d know if her mother were alive – she’d feel it in her heart. Jack accuses Jill of not wanting her mother back because she has more autonomy and control this way. Jill gets angry and leaves.

At the hospital, Katherine still cannot remember Murphy, Joe Jr., or Pearl. Katherine asks Murphy to tell her something that she might remember him by. He offers a few memories of their time together, but she doesn’t remember any of them. Murphy finally mentions Phillip, and Katherine can remember he is her late husband. Murphy realizes she has lost the memory of the last few months.

Everyone in the waiting room, including Michael, Jana, Chloe, Billy, and Esther gasp at the photo of Kevin with the bomb. Billy is quick to point out that Kevin has a long criminal record and tells Detective Gil he needs to find Kevin before he blows someone else up. Michael tells Billy to be careful making accusations like that. Jana, Michael, and Gloria don’t believe Kevin had anything to do with the bomb. Esther tells Detective Gil that Kevin was outside the motel room talking to Clint earlier. She then goes to visit Katherine in her hospital room. Esther is confused when she sees Murphy in there with her, but Amber tells Esther that it’s Murphy, and that he and Katherine are good friends. When the women enter the room, Murphy ducks out. Amber and Esther try to help Kay remember the past few months, starting with the fact that everyone believes she’s dead.

When Victor goes to take a call, Ashley asks Estella if she’s seen the red egg that Sabrina bought for Victor because it seems to be missing. Estella believes Ashley is accusing her of stealing it, but Ashley assures her she isn’t. When Estella goes upstairs, she overhears Ashley tell Victor that down the road, they may get married, but she doesn’t want to get married right this second.

At the hospital, Billy and Chloe have a discussion about Katherine/Marge. Billy admits that if Esther believes the woman is Katherine, then he isn’t sure she isn’t. At that moment, Cane and Lily come up to them. Cane tells him he thinks the woman is Marge, but Billy tells him he thinks that because their mother believes that.

Billy goes in to see Katherine. She asks him how his flight from Hong Kong was, and Billy is confused. Esther explains that Katherine has no short-term memory right now. Billy realizes that Marge couldn’t know the things Katherine is talking about and embraces his grandmother. Cane enters the room, and Billy warns him to be nice to Katherine. Kay tells Billy she is capable of handling his brother on her own, and that she’ll answer all of Cane’s questions. Cane asks her a few questions, but Katherine can’t remember the memories he is asking about. Esther tries to explain to Cane that Katherine only has very limited memory, but Cane offers her money to just go away and leave the family in peace.

Outside the room, Chloe and Lily trade insults. When Cane comes out, he admits the woman looks like his grandmother, but he knows she isn’t her. Billy follows Cane out of the room and demands to know how he could put her through all of that. Billy reminds Cane he’s only known her for two years while Billy has known his grandmother his whole life. Billy asserts that Katherine is his grandmother.

Nick and Phyllis run into Jack at the coffeehouse. Phyllis tells Jack she is surprised he isn’t going nuts over the news. He thinks she is referring to Esther surviving the crash, and is confused. Nick informs Jack that Ashley is pregnant. When Phyllis leaves to get some coffee, Jack and Nick exchange a few comments about Sharon.

At the hospital, Katherine expresses her frustration over her inability to remember. Esther ask Katherine if she’s thought about going home, but Katherine insists she can’t impose herself on Jill, someone who doesn’t even believe she is alive.

At the coffeehouse, Jana, Daniel, Michael, and Gloria try to think of a way they can find Kevin before the police do. Daniel admits he’s been worried about Kevin because he’s been so wrapped up in finding Katherine. Jana catches Gloria looking at the photo of Kevin and believes Gloria thinks Kevin actually did it. She is outraged, and then accuses Gloria of planning the entire thing herself so that she could be the hero. Michael tells Jana Gloria is capable of many things, but putting Kevin in danger isn’t one of them. Detective Gil arrives and delivers an envelope to Jana. Michael says he’s her attorney and takes the envelope from the Detective. He tells Jana it is a search warrant for the coffeehouse. Detective Gil tells them that Kevin is their prime suspect in the explosion. He says they also have a warrant to search their home.

At the tack house, Nikki remembers when she and Victor had Nick. Estella arrives and tells Nikki she doesn’t like Ashley. She tells Nikki that Ashley accused her of stealing. Nikki tells her to give it time, but Estella tells Nikki she doesn’t believe Ashley likes her and the feeling is mutual. She also tells Nikki that Victor wants to marry Ashley so soon.

When Nick and Phyllis arrive home, they stand outside the door and kiss.

At the diner, Murphy, Pearl, and Joe Jr. discuss why all those rich people care about Marge; Joe Jr. believes all they care about is Katherine’s money, but Murphy insists they are quality people and really care about Katherine. Murphy tells them he doesn’t think he should hang around her anymore because he will remind her of all the bad things she’s been through. Pearl tells him he should go see her again, if only to say good-bye. Later, Murphy looks out the window and says goodbye to Katherine and tells her he will miss her.

Billy arrives at the Abbott mansion. Jack asks about Chloe and Billy tells him he’s been holding her hand at the hospital for the past couple of hours. Billy asks for a drink, and Jack says he’s had a rough night, too. Jack tells Billy that Ashley is pregnant with Victor’s child. Billy tells Jack that his grandmother is still alive. Jack tells Billy to go be a father, and Billy leaves.

Cane arrives at the Chancellor mansion and tells Jill whoever the woman in the hospital is, she isn’t Katherine. He tells her she doesn’t have to worry about that woman anymore. Jill thanks him.

Chloe Gets Sick

Lily and Cane enjoy each other's company after they make love. Devon and Chloe arrive home and give them a little warning before they walk in. Chloe begins to get sick.

David finally confronts Paul. He asks Paul if he is there to talk to Nikki about his step-daughter, Mina. David tells Paul that she is out to get him because he convinced her mom to take her out of her will due to a drug problem she struggled with in school. Paul is not convinced David is telling the truth, but he leaves upon David's request.

At the coffeehouse, Nikki asks Kevin why Gloria hasn't been at Jabot. Kevin tells her that Jill fired Gloria and Nikki is furious.

Meanwhile, Gloria wants to start a charity with the foundation she created, but Michael tells her that is won't work. He tells Gloria she should get a job, and suggests she work for Kevin at the coffeehouse.

Jeff visits Jill, and tells her he is happy, but Jill doesn't buy it. She reminds Jeff that just a few days ago, he admitted he loves Gloria.

Katherine comes to Restless Style to take Amber to lunch. While there, Jack asks Katherine if she donated to the Abot Foundation and Cassie's Challenge, but Kay tells him if she donated a large sum of money to charity, she would want them to know that she had done so. Later, at the gym, Jeff finds Jack and asks him to let Gloria move back in. Jack is very reluctant to listen to Jeff, until Jeff tells him that Gloria doesn't have any money and is homeless. Jack realizes that Jeff is still in love with Gloria.

At the coffeehouse, Gloria asks Kevin for a job. He is reluctant, but after some salary negotiations, he gives her a position.

At Jabot, Nikki confronts Jill about her firing Gloria. Jill brushes Nikki off and walks away.

Chloe get sick throughout the afternoon. She wants to go on the trip with Lily, but Lily tells her that she will be okay without Chloe. Lily and Cane leave for the airport, and Chloe tells Devon she feels like she let Lily down.

At lunch, Amber seeks Katherine's confidence in her designs, and Katherine gives Amber the reassurance she needs. Kay tells Amber to work on her designs while Daniel is on tour so she can buy Amber more ad space in the next issue of Restless Style. Amber offers to help Kay write her memoir some more as well.

Jack tries to figure out who made the anonymous donations to the foundations. He unscrambles the letters in "Mark's Algoria" to spell "Gloria's Karma." Later, he gives Gloria a hard time at the coffeehouse, but he asks to speak with her on the patio.

Paul checks out David's claims. He finds out that Mina in fact had a drug problem and got expelled from school. Paul confronts Mina on it later, and she is defensive. Paul doesn't know what to believe, and he is frustrated he doesn't have any evidence to bring to Nikki.

David watches a horse race at Jabot, and he loses $40,000.

Nikki confronts Jill again about firing Gloria, and they begin to fight. Kay walks in on the fight and sides with Nikki, telling Jill she needs to let Nikki run Jabot. She also tells Jill she promised John that she would look after Gloria before he died.

David calls Walter and convinces him to give him another loan.

Jana asks Amber if she wants to hang out with her and Kevin later, but Amber tells Jana she is busy working on a new design. She has the self-confidence to continue, after her talk at lunch with Kay.

Chloe eats a bag of chips. She mutters that it will cost her four hours in the gym, but it is worth it. Later, she calls Cane to ask him to bring her work from Jabot. Chloe reveals to the audience that she has been faking her illness all along.

Jeff insults Gloria, and Michael loses it and punches him hard.

At the coffeehouse, Jack tries to get Gloria to confess making such a large donation to charity. There is tension between the two as they talk, but Jack eventually gets Gloria to confess what her situation is. He offers to let Gloria move into the pool house, rent-free for as long as she needs or wants. Gloria is shocked and gives Jack a hug.

Victor Buys a New Art Piece

Jana starts her first day as Sabrina's art assistant at the Newman Ranch. She meets Victor and tells him how great she thinks he is. Michael arrives at the Ranch and he and Victor begin to discuss the lawsuit with Jabot. Victor tells Michael he does not want to settle and will do whatever it takes to fight the case.

David gives Nikki a diamond necklace. She is worried about the meeting regarding Jabot's lawsuit.

At the coffeehouse, Kevin is still overwhelmed with customers. Gloria arrives at the coffeehouse, and Kevin asks her where she has been. Gloria is frantic, and tells Kevin she just learned that her diamonds are fake. Jill calls Gloria and demands she come to work, but Gloria says she has a family emergency and hangs up.

At Jabot, Brad notices Nikki's new necklace and inquires about it to David. David tells Brad he is paying him off.

Paul tells J.T. about his visit with Elizabeth. Paul wonders, despite how crazy Elizabeth seems, if her allegations are right about David.

Allistair arrives at the coffeehouse, and greets Gloria cheerfully. Gloria is not pleased to see him. She tells him to take over filling orders for her, and he does.

During a meeting, Jill tells Nikki she should settle the lawsuit against Newman, but Nikki is adamant that she will not settle. Nikki also assigns Victoria and Brad to work together on a Jabot retro project. Neither of them are happy about working with one another, and Jill tries to tell Nikki that Victoria might be of better use on something else, but Nikki doesn't listen. Jill also tries to get Nikki to reconsider settling, but Nikki won't hear of it.

At the Ranch, Victor reiterates to Michael that he will not settle. Michael tells Victor not to mix emotion with business, but Victor is adamant that Michael proceed with the case anyway.

Jana tells Sabrina she thinks it is romantic how much passion she and Victor have for art. She also tells Sabrina that she believe she and Victor are destined to be together, and this makes Sabrina happy. Later, Jana watches as Sabrina bids millions of dollars on an art piece for Victor. After they win the bidding war, Sabrina, Jana, and Victor celebrate.

Nikki talks to Victoria about her struggle with Jill. Victoria tells Nikki it is probably hard for Jill to let go of the control she had over Jabot. Later, Jill tells Nikki she needs to let go of Victor.

Adam wants to help Michael with the lawsuit. They go to the coffeehouse to do some work. When Michael arrives, Gloria and Kevin fill him in on the diamond situation. Michael finds out that Gloria did not insure her diamonds, and he tells her there isn't anything he can do, but that he will make a few calls to see if someone took them.

David places another bet of $25,000.

Sabrina and Victor talk about their wedding and honeymoon. When Victor asks Sabrina what her dream wedding is, she tells him it doesn't matter where they get married, as long as she has him. Both of them are very anxious to go on their honeymoon.

Adam gives Victor some bad news from the lab about the lawsuit. Victor tells Adam to consult with another lab, until he can find one to give Victor the news he wants.

Michael tells Gloria that he talked to everyone at the bank, and that no one there switched her diamonds. Gloria feels quite hopeless, and Allistair notices. Allistair calls Jeff quietly and tells him he thinks it was a mistake to tell Jeff about Gloria's diamonds, as he thinks Gloria has nothing now. Jeff responds that he doesn't know what Allistair is talking about.

Paul tells J.T. that he talked with the sister of David's first ex-wife. He tells J.T. that the sister is convinced David pushed her over the edge, to commit suicide, but she does not have any proof.

Victoria overhears Jana telling Kevin and Gloria how much money Victor spent on an art piece today.

David pays Brad $10,000, and says he will pay him the rest later. Nikki sees the exchange, and becomes suspicious.

Daniel Says Good-Bye

Sharon and Jack discuss the second issue of Restless Style. Jack tells Sharon he is working on something special for the magazine.

Phyllis talks with Nick at their home. Nick tells Phyllis that he remembered everything about Cassie's death at the hospital. Phyllis feels helpless. Nick also tells her that he can remember falling in love with her as well. Phyllis reassures him that he was a good father to Cassie and is a good father to Summer and Noah.

Cane comes into Jabot and tells Jill he knows it is the anniversary of Phillip's death. Cane asks his mom to tell him about his father. Jill begins to tell Cane that Phillip was a wonderful man, but soon allows her anger at Katherine to get in the way of her good memories.

Jana worries about Kevin's ability to run the coffeehouse without her, but Kevin tries to reassure her that he was able to run the coffeehouse before he met her.

Amber tries to keep a smile on her face as she prepares to say good-bye to Daniel before he leaves on tour. She, Daniel, and Danny go over the tour itinerary, and Amber remarks that this is a great opportunity for Daniel.

Gloria comes to the coffeehouse and Kevin remarks that she looks horrible. Jana realizes that Gloria misses Jeff dearly.

At Restless Style, Nick asks to speak to Sharon alone. When they are alone, Nick tells Sharon how sorry he is for the previous night, but that he is also glad that he can remember his daughter, Cassie. Sharon tells him not to worry about last night. Meanwhile, Jack and Phyllis decide that they do not want to relive the past, but rather to be focused on the present.

Jana tells Amber that the universe is testing her, she tells her this is a test to see whether she and Daniel were meant to be together. Jana goes back to Gloria and Kevin and suggests that Kevin call Gloria if he needs any help at the coffeehouse while she is at her new job. Kevin is not pleased with the idea, and tells Gloria not to come help him, even if there is a huge line at the coffeehouse.

At Jabot, Cane asks Katherine to tell him about Phillip. Katherine tells Cane how wonderful Phillip was, but soon lets her anger and resentment for Jill cloud her memories as well.

Daniel, Danny, and Amber arrive at Restless Style so Daniel can say good-bye to everyone there. Nick pulls Daniel aside and apologizes for the way he treated him after Cassie's death. Daniel tells him it is okay. Daniel makes Nick promise him that he will take care of Phyllis while he is gone.

Gloria leaves the coffeehouse to have her diamonds appraised. Meanwhile, Jana gets luck from Kevin for her first day of work. Jana reminds Kevin to call her or Gloria if he becomes overwhelmed at the coffeehouse before she heads out to the Newman Ranch.

At Restless Style, Phyllis asks Danny to look after Daniel while he is on tour with him. Daniel and Amber share emotions. Amber tries to maintain a happy face for Daniel, but Daniel can see past it. They agree to trust one another and embrace warmly.

Katherine begins to tell Cane another story about Phillip, but Jill interrupts her with a mean comment. The two of them get into a huge argument. Cane gets fed up with their arguing and tells them that he's had enough of it. Cane storms out of the office, followed by Jill.

Kevin calls Gloria and begs her for her help. Gloria agrees to come help Kevin after she has her diamonds appraised. Kevin runs into a lot of trouble at the coffeehouse.

Gloria has her diamonds appraised only to find out that they are fake!

Phyllis and Amber say good-bye to Daniel. They are both extremely sad to see him leave. Daniel gets into the elevator with his father and they head out on tour.

Adrian's Book is Put On Hold

Victor is happy when he listens to Adam's message, telling him he would like to move into the Newman ranch.

Brad reminds his bookie that he will give him $25,000 if he can get David to bet on a sure loser. Brad is frustrated that his bookie has not been able to get David to do so thus far.

Amber and Daniel enjoy their morning together and take advantage of the extra time they have before they have to go into work.

Adrian asks Colleen to go on his book tour with him, and she agrees to go. She is still worried about the ramifications of the book being published, however.

Michael receives a phone call from Adrian's publishing house. Michael is able to get Adrian's book being published on hold. Brad is impressed.

At the coffeehouse, Michael informs Kevin that Adrian's book has been put on-hold. Kevin is relieved and tells Michael the best part about it is that Jana will never have to know. Unfortunately, Jana is behind him when he says this and wants to know what is going on. Kevin tries to lie, but fails. He ends up telling her the truth, which shocks and worries Jana. Michael tells her he will do everything possible to stop the book from being published.

Adrian learns that his book has been put on hold and that his book tour has been cancelled. He blames Colleen for Brad's actions.

Victor tells Sabrina he has invited Adam to live at the ranch and that he accepted his offer. Sabrina does not like the idea, but agrees to let him come live there. Victor is thrilled and calls Adam to tell him to move in right away.

Colleen goes to tell Brad Adrian knows what he has done. Brad tells her that he had to move quickly in order to protect their family, and Colleen says she understands. She tells her father that she thinks she might lose Adrian and that her heart is breaking. Brad tells her that if she and Adrian are meant to be, they will make it through this difficult time.

At the club, Victoria watches David and Nikki interact. Nikki tells her that once she and David get married, there is no hope for her and Victor to get back together. Victoria says that it is going to take some time getting used to Victor and Sabrina's relationship.

Sabrina is cold to Adam as he moves into the ranch.

Later, Sabrina finds Victoria and they exchange a few civil words. Adam also finds Victoria and asks her if she wants to team up against Sabrina. Victoria is shocked when she finds out that Adam has moved into the Newman ranch.

Brad reminds David he needs to start paying back the money he owes him as today is payday.

At the coffeehouse, Amber and Daniel announce to Kevin and Jana that they move in together. The four of them plan a double date.

Colleen informs Adrian that she is going to Shanghai for the work study program, so that they can have some time apart.

Victor has a diamond ring delivered to the art gallery and asks Sabrina to marry him.

Victoria Leaves Newman

Nick receives a text message from Victoria telling him to meet her at Newman in fifteen minutes. She tells him it is important. Nick asks Phyllis to take his meeting with Ada, which Phyllis isn't too happy about.

Adam tries to get Skye to stay in town to no avail. He receives a call from Phyllis who wants to reschedule their meeting. He tells Phyllis they can meet in 30 minutes at the club. Skye realizes Adam is interested in Phyllis.

Victor is hurt that Victoria is leaving Newman. Niel finds out that Victoria is leaving Newman and he is sad about it.

Nick tries to convince his father to tell Victoria to stay at Newman, but Victor is too stubborn. Sabrina interrupts and Nick leaves his father's office.

Sabrina tries to convince Victor that Victoria will always love and adore him. Victor tells Sabrina he falls in love with her more and more.

Before Sabrina continues to interview applicants for the assistant position, she stops by Victoria's office where she is cleaning up. Sabrina tells Victoria she is sorry and she wishes it didn't have to be this way, and Victoria agrees.

Meanwhile, at Jabot, Brad and Jill both learn from Nikki that Victoria is going to be coming to work for them. Jill is not thrilled with this news. She talks to Brad about it, and Brad points out Victoria's strengths as a businesswoman.

At the coffeehouse, Colleen asks Kevin if she can talk to him. She tells Kevin that Adrian's book is supposed to come out soon, and that she told him everything when she was mad at her father. She tells Kevin she told Adrian everything about her family and told him it was okay for him to use real names in his book. Kevin and Colleen know how much trouble this will mean for Jana, and Colleen tells Kevin she will try to talk to Adrian about it.

Jeff walks into the coffeehouse, looking around to see that Gloria is not there. Jana talks to him about how he needs to tell Gloria that he is in love with her, but Jeff denies he is in love, saying he is happy to be divorcing Gloria. Later, Jana tells Gloria she needs to tell Jeff how she feels about him because she knows Jeff is in love with her, but Gloria is skeptical.

At Jabot, Gloria talks to her lawyer about making a sizable donation to charity anonymously. Jill overhears her call and interrupts. Gloria, not knowing that Jill overheard her asks Jill for advice on how her friend can make a sizable donation to charity anonymously. Jill tells her when people see a lot of money being donated, they usually figure out that something is up.

Adam kisses Skye at the club before he heads to his meeting with Phyllis. Phyllis tells him that Restless Style needs to move the Beauty of Nature ad, and Adam insists it stays where it is or he will pull the Beauty of Nature account from Restless Style for good.

Niel says good-bye to Victoria at Newman. They both tell one another that they will miss each other.

At Jabot, Jill is infuriated when she finds out Nikki made another huge decision behind her back. Jill and Nikki end up getting into an argument about who she has been hiring for Jabot - David and Victoria. Nikki points out that Jill has Cane working with her as well.

Colleen talks with Adrian about his book. She asks him to not publish. Adrian is shocked and disappointed. He tells Colleen that it will look bad for his reputation and that he will need to pay back his advance. Colleen tells him she knows it is a huge thing to ask, but that real people would be affected if his book is published. Adrian does not make a decision, and heads off to teach class, leaving Colleen at the coffeehouse.

Colleen tells Kevin that she doesn't know if Adrian is going to publish his book or not.

Sabrina offers Jana the art assistant position.

Victoria arrives at Jabot to work with her mom.

Victor's Secrets Revealed

Lily meets Cane at the coffeehouse and tells him how disappointed Neil is in her.

Meanwhile, at Newman, Neil tells Karen that Lily is pregnant.

Adam makes the mistake of trying to get Victor to change Beauty of Nature's name again. Victor is very firm that he will not allow Adam to change its name. Later, Adam calls a friend in New York in order to see if they can catch up while he is there on business.

Phyllis welcomes Nick back from his trip to L.A. at the Restless Style headquarters. Shortly after, Sabrina shows up to discuss renting the bottom floor of Nick's building for the art exhibit. He is surprised that she is working for his father.

Cane tells Lily he will help her raise the baby if she decides to keep it. Lily is stressing out over the decision about whether to keep the baby or not.

Jill bumps into Chloe at the club and tells her she wants to talk about Lily. Chloe tells Jill she thinks Lily might be bulimic. Jill tells Chloe she is worried about her health and to get Lily to a doctor as soon as possible.

Nick decides to rent his bottom floor to Victor and Sabrina; he likes the idea of his father owing him rent.

Victor confesses to Sabrina that he owns the mortgage on Nick's building and this makes Sabrina nervous. Victoria nearly catches her father and Sabrina in an embrace when she enters Victor's office without knocking.

Victoria learns that Victor owns the mortgage on Nick's building and she is furious with him about it, but he assures her that he did it protect Nick.

At Restless Style, Phyllis informs Nick that she will need to fly to New York on business later that night. Adam and Phyllis learn that they are both going to New York and Nick assigns Phyllis to help Adam interview people for the Beauty of Nature spokesperson position.

Karen offers to help Lily find a support group, with objective support, but Neil is defensive about this, telling Karen he does not want that kind of support for his daughter. Later, Neil asks Karen if she would help him raise Lily's baby with him, and she is shocked.

Victor stops by Restless Style and signs the contract himself. He tells Nick and Phyllis he likes what they have done with the place.

Sabrina tells Victoria that she is involved with Victor. Victoria becomes very angry with Sabrina and throws her out of her house. Victoria calls Nick for support and he rushes over to her house to be with her. Once there, Nick learns from Victoria of Sabrina's involvement with Victor. He also finds out that Victor owns his mortgage, and he is furious about it.

Chloe finds Cane and Lily and tells Lily that Jill is on to her, and is demanding that she see a doctor immediately.

Lily Reveals Her Pregnancy to Neil

Jack, Sharon, and Noah celebrate their being back in the mansion without Jeff and Gloria.

Lauren talks to Michael about Gloria. She believes Gloria has changed, but Michael insists Gloria giving the mansion to Jack was just another manipulative move on her part.

Jill and Alistair meet at the club to discuss what he has learned about Gloria thus far. Jill is anxious to find out why Gloria is in a loveless marriage and what Jeff has over her head.

Alistair visits the mansion and is surprised to learn that Gloria is moving out. Jeff appears at the mansion and is outraged that no one informed him that they were moving. Gloria reminds him that he cheated on her, but Jeff maintains that nothing happened between him and Kyon. Gloria says she has fallen for Alistair and kisses him in front of Jeff.

Chloe talks to Lily about her future as a model. Lily really wants to become the success Chloe is telling her she will be and she worries her pregnancy will get in the way of that. When Lily goes to the bathroom to throw up again, Cane covers for her, telling Chloe Lily is worried about her looks. Chloe catches Cane in another lie, however.

Jill tries to illicit information about Gloria's marriage to him, acting like a caring friend, but Jeff does not offer her much of anything.

Jana wants Kevin to invite Gloria to live with them, but Kevin refuses to allow that to happen.

Cane offers his support to Lily as she is preparing to tell her father about the pregnancy. She tells him that she thinks she should tell him by herself and he respects that.

Chloe sees Neil at the coffeehouse and asks him to talk to Lily about committing to modeling. Niel tells Chloe that he believes Lily wants to finish her education and that he will support his daughter in that.

Michael and Kevin talk about Gloria at the coffeehouse. They both believe Gloria is playing them, but Jana and Lauren both believe that Gloria has changed. In the end, Kevin and Michael agree to not intentionally push Gloria away, but Michael insists that Gloria not live with them again.

Jill walks in on Lily crying in Cane's arms. She asks Cane what is going on and he tells his mother that Chloe is still pushing her too hard. Jill and Cane talk about having children, and Jill realizes that Lily is pregnant.

Lily tells Niel that she is pregnant, and he is shocked, but tells her that he will help and support her in any way he can. Lily tells him, however, that she is not sure she is going to keep the baby.

Jack pushes Gloria to hurry up when she is saying her last good-byes at the mansion. Jack shows no compassion for her, and Gloria is saddened by this. After she leaves, John's ghost appears to Jack and tells him that he is leaving Jack for good, that his work is done. Jack begs him to stay, but John says it is time for him to leave.

Gloria checks into the club and calls Lauren and Michael, asking if she can live with them.

Jack is Served a Two Million Dollar Lawsuit

Jack is served with a two million dollar lawsuit by Michael at Restless Style.

Michael is in a good mood as his visits Victor at Newman to drop off the paperwork Victor needs to start his art foundation.

Nick stops by Newman and warns Adam to stay away from Phyllis. Adam tells Nick that he didn't know he was so insecure. Nick tells him that he need to go through either him or Jack for advertising in Restless Style. Nick begins to think that Adam is more like Victor than he thought.

Kyon and Jeff continue to kiss passionately as Alistair continues to search for Gloria. He finally finds her in the wine cellar and picks the lock to let her out. When he opens the door, he is distracted by all the wine and ultimately lets the door close again, leaving both Gloria and Alistair locked in the wine cellar together. Alistair tells Gloria what is going on between Jeff and Kyon and tries to get her to tell him what Jeff has on her.

Michael tells Kevin about his lawsuit at the coffeehouse. Kevin, Jana, and Michael talk about Gloria, and Michael tells Kevin and Jana they should uninvite Gloria to their wedding to show her that they are serious, that they want her drama out of their lives.

Kyon tells Jeff that Gloria stood him up, but Jeff doubts her story. Meanwhile, Alistair and Gloria figure out how to get out of the wine cellar.

Nick and Victoria talk about how Adam is resentful of them and how he wants to take everything they have. Victoria talks to Victor about his decision to move her off of the Beauty of Nature project, but Victor refuses to change his mind.

Adam calls Phyllis and apologizes for making her feel uncomfortable. Phyllis wonders if Nick talked to Adam while he was at Newman.

Adam wonders about the connection between Victor and Michael after he runs into Michael at the coffeehouse.

Gloria walks in while Jeff and Kyon are in the middle of a kiss and she is furious. She throws both Kyon and Jeff out and turns Alistair down when he asks her to breakfast.

At the club, Jeff tells Kyon she is going to be on the first flight out of Genua City in the morning, but Kyon tries to get Jeff to pay her to leave.

Jack confronts Michael about the lawsuit at the club in front of a client.

Phyllis confronts Nick about his talking to Adam about her. Nick tells her he doesn't think Adam can be trusted.

Victoria tells Adam that she was taken off Beauty of Nature.

Sabrina enters Victor's office at Newman and tells him she is accepting his offer to stay in Genua City.

Adam Survives Dinner with the Newmans

Nikki stops by the magazine to check on the progress. Nick invites his mom to join them for dinner, and Nikki is excited about it. However, she is displeased to learn that Adam will also be joining them.

Victoria calls to invite Sabrina to dinner, but gets her voicemail. Adam tells Victor he is headed out for the day. Victoria stops in to say bye to her father before leaving the office as well. Victor invites her to dinner, but Victoria informs him she already has other plans.

Daniel and Amber discuss what to do with the money in the coffee shop. When Kevin appears, Amber tells him that they were talking about how good the sex is between them. Then, Amber tells Kevin she and Daniel are now dating, and Kevin says Jana will be excited to hear the news. After he leaves, Daniel encourages Amber to turn the money over to the feds and to tell Kevin the truth.

Adam arrives at the GCAC and waits for the rest of his new family to join him for dinner. Nikki and David arrive first and talk with Adam while they wait for everyone else to get to the club.

Jana and Kevin watch Daniel and Amber. Kevin doubts that they are dating, but Jana is very enthusiastic and believes they are dating. Later, when Heather meets Daniel, Amber is very scared he will tell her everything about the money.

Sabrina and Victor run into each other at the gym. Victor invites her to dinner at the club, and she accepts.

Heather says that she had a great night with Daniel, but she feels his heart may be somewhere else. She tells him that even if the money were to reappear it probably wouldn't matter because the feds already closed the case on it. She tells Daniel that she is thinking about leaving Genua City.

Nick and Adam discuss big cities versus small towns at dinner. There is little talk from most of the other dinner guests.

Once Victor sees his entire family eating at the club, he says he has lost his appetite, but invites Sabrina to join them. Sabrina says she'd rather not, and he offers her a ride home, which she gladly accepts. They eat fast food back at the ranch where Victor tries to convince Sabrina to stay in Genua City longer.

After Heather leaves, Amber rushes back over to Daniel to find out what he told her. Daniel tells her what Heather said about the money. Amber begins crying and Daniel tells her to kiss him because they "have an audience" and need to look like they really are dating.

Nick gets a phone call from the electrician as dinner is ending. Adam and Phyllis talk while Nick takes the call. Phyllis compliments Adam for surviving dinner. He tells her that he doesn't care if the Newmans like him or not. Later, when Phyllis asks Nick how he thinks dinner went, Nick says Adam does not want to be a part of the family.

Victoria stops by the ranch after dinner. Sabrina tells her that she and Victor saw them having dinner at the club. Victoria thinks that seeing his family having dinner probably hurt Victor's feelings.

Adam Continues to Flirt with Phyllis

Sharon and Jack are preparing for their trip to L.A. Gloria and Jeff see their bags and believe they are moving out. Jack tells them they are only going on a vacation and they haven't given up. Gloria is disappointed.

J.T. and Victoria get ready to head to Newman for the day when Victoria tells J.T. that she called the nurse and told her they are going to take Reed to work with them. J.T. isn't thrilled that Victoria went against his wishes to leave Reed at home until he is older, but later, when they are at Newman, J.T. admits he likes having Reed there with them.

Victor calls Nick to warn him about starting a magazine. Nick tells him he cannot control his life anymore and hangs up on him.

Adam flirts with Phyllis when he sees her in the gym. Phyllis flirts back.

Phyllis drops some papers off for Jack at the Abot mansion for his meeting. When he leaves the room to take a call, Phyllis asks Sharon if she has talked to Jack about leaving the foundation yet. Sharon says she hasn't because she doesn't want to disappoint Jack. Jack overhears her say this and inquires what is going on.

Daniel asks Amber to go to a concert with him, but Amber says she can't. Daniel is confused by Amer's behavior and confronts her about it. He ends up telling Amber to call him when she can handle being his friend and hanging out with him again.

Jana tries to get Kevin to help her set up Daniel and Amber, but Kevin tells her not to meddle in other people's business.

Gloria calls Kevin and tells him she doesn't feel safe alone in the Abot mansion. She goes to visit Kevin at the coffeehouse and tries to convince Kevin to move into the mansion while Jack and Sharon are out of town. Kevin turns her down, telling her he has his own life.

Victor tells Adam he can work on the Beauty of Nature project with Victoria. After Adam leaves the room, Victor comments that Adam is hard-working and intelligent and that he likes that.

Victor confronts Nick at the gym. He tells him he didn't appreciate being hung up on. He wants Nick to meet Adam, but Nick wants nothing to do with him.

In the GCAC Nick and Adam meet and Nick is not happy about it. He tells Adam that Victor fired him, and Adam is shocked at the news. He asks Victor if he fired Nick before or after he knew he was coming to work for him. Adam begins to realize the Newman family relationships are complicated.

Victoria tells J.T. she wants to give Adam a chance. J.T. suggests they invite him to dinner to get to know him better and Victoria says this is a good idea.

Jack meets Eric Forester in L.A.

Gloria meets Todd Scheller

Heather and Cane talk and realize they are going to the same charity event. Heather offers to drive Cane there and he agrees.

Lily tells Colleen about her Thanksgiving with Cane and her family. She tells Colleen that they only spoke about two sentences to one another and Colleen tells Lily that that is probably because Cane didn't want to flirt with her in front of her dad.

Jana calls Kevin at Jabot and tells him that she is headed to the hospital for a test. He tells her that he will be right there to meet her. Gloria tries to discourage Kevin from pushing Jana to say yes to his marriage proposal, but Kevin tells his mother that he doesn't want to hear her say one more negative word about Jana.

Gloria and Jill meet at the Athletic Club to discuss marketing ideas for Jabot cosmetics. They want to aim a new line of cosmetics at the younger generation and call Lily over to ask her why she wears make-up. Cane walks over and tells Lily that she is a knockout, a natural beauty. Lily tells them that she thought her mom was always prettiest when she was happy, whether or not she was wearing make-up.

Later, Lily tries to ask Cane if he likes her at the coffeehouse, but before she can, Heather spots them and interrupts, telling Cane that she is getting off work earlier so he can pick her up for their date. Lily is very disappointed and lies to Cane, telling him she only wanted to ask him if he would donate money to the homeless charity she is working to raise money for.

Phyllis sees Jana in the hospital while she waits for her CT scan. She tells Phyllis that Kevin proposed to her and Phyllis is excited for her. Jana says that the only way she will accept Kevin's proposal is if she knows she will die soon.

Heather comes to the hospital to tell Phyllis that she is going to retry her case, but that is she pleads guilty to a lesser charge, she will make sure Phyllis only receives a probation period. In return, she asks Phyllis to get Daniel off her back.

Gloria and Kevin meet Todd Scheller at the courthouse, but find out that they need to talk to his father. Todd informs them that after his father got released from prison, he started drinking again and he doesn't know where he is now. He does say, though, that he found a letter addressed to Gloria in his father's duffel bag and tells Gloria and Kevin that he will look for it.

Phyllis is free!

The Young and the Restless update for Tuesday November 20, 2007:

Nikki and Victor meet with the mediator and continue to argue about whether or not Victoria should have the c-section. Victor is adamant about saving his daughter's life, while Nikki insists that Victoria would want them to save the baby, even if it meant sacrificing her own life.

Neil asks Karen to stop by his office before she leaves for home and she says she will.

Amber wants Kevin to ask Cane what his plans are for Thanksgiving. Kevin does so, and asks whether Cane would be interested in helping with the free Thanksgiving dinner at the coffeehouse. Cane says he's working all day at Jabot since his family will be out of town.

When Amber hears about Cane's plans to work, she orders a Thanksgiving dinner from the GCAC and plans to take a plate of it over to Jabot for Cane.

The warden comes into Phyllis and Jana's cell and tells Phyllis to gather her things. Phyllis is nervous that she is in trouble, but the warden informs her that she has won her appeal and is being let go. Phyllis is overjoyed!

Phyllis calls Daniel to tell him that she's being let go and will be home for Thanksgiving. Daniel, too, is overjoyed.

Michael and Lauren call Nick to tell him the good news. Nick is happy about Phyllis' release, but down about Victoria's condition. He tells Michael and Lauren about her condition and asks them if they will pick Phyllis up for him so he can stay at the hospital with his family. Michael and Lauren happily agree to do so.

Lily is in the break room at Newman with Cane while Karen gets coffee in the background. She asks him what he's doing for Thanksgiving and he says his family will be out of town. She invites him to join her family and he agrees to come over.

Brad and J.T. argue about what is best for Victoria in the hospital hallway. Nick comes over and breaks up the argument. J.T. and Brad storm off.

After Cane leaves the break room, Karen tells Lily that she overheard her telling Devon that she doesn't want Karen at their dinner. Lily tries to apologize, but ends up making things worse.

Cane goes back to the coffeehouse and asks Amber for advice on what to bring to a Thanksgiving dinner because he is going to the Winters'.

Amber gets very depressed that her plan to surprise Cane with Thanksgiving dinner is ruined.

An ecstatic Phyllis hugs Jana good-bye. She promises she'll visit her. As Phyllis walks out the door, Jana realizes that Phyllis forgot her dollhouse and photo frame she made for Summer, but it's too late to catch Phyllis.

Lily talks to Devon about her feelings regarding Karen and their mother's loss. Devon tells Lily that Karen isn't so bad and that she makes their father happy, which is the most important thing, so they should learn to accept Karen.

Lily finds Karen again and apologizes. She tells Karen that she sincerely wants her to come to dinner and that she really wants to get to know her. Neil enters the break room and the two women tell him of the new plans - that Karen and Cane will be joining them for Thanksgiving.

After Lily leaves, Neil asks Karen how Cane got invited and she tells him Lily invited him. Neil is not pleased about this.

Phyllis hugs and kisses Nick in the hospital and says she wants to visit Victoria. She enters the room and talks to Victoria for a little while.

Update for Tuesday November 6, 2007

Colleen arrives at Victoria's room to visit her and finds J.T. already there. They talk about how beautiful she looks, like a sleeping beauty. Brad enters the room shortly after and tensions rise between himself and J.T.

J.T. asks to speak with Brad in the hallway and he tells him that it is rough having Brad in the room with him and he asks Brad to leave in order to give him time alone with Victoria. Brad agrees to leave, but he says he'll stop by again soon.

When Lily hears that Cane had nothing to do with the Clear Springs collapse, she is relieved, but she is also upset about Victor's involvement in what happened.

Victor instructs Karen and Neil to gather the press so that he can give a statement. He insists that no press will be allowed to ask him any questions as he does not want to answer them at this time.

Jack confronts Maggie and Heather in the coffeehouse where he tells them he thinks Victor should be their person of interest in the Ji Min case. He asserts that Victor was angry with Ji Min because he was going to back out of the interview that would have ruined Jack. Maggie and Heather remain skeptical, however.

Lily and Cane see one another in the coffeehouse. They talk about Cane's experience in the collapsed parking garage. Before Lily leaves, she gives Cane a hug and a kiss on the cheek.

Later, when Lily meets Colleen at the hospital, she tells her of the encounter she and Cane had. Lily wonders if she should invite Cane to the concert at Indigo later that night and Colleen reassures her that inviting him to the concert would be a good idea.

At the coffeehouse, Heather asks Cane to join her at the Enrique Iglessias concert at Indigo later that night. Cane agrees to accompany her.

Lily runs into Heather and Cane at the coffeehouse, and after Heather leaves, Lily invites Cane to the concert. He said he'd love to go with her, but he already agreed to go with Heather. Lily is disappointed, but she tries to hide that from Cane.

Victor delivers his statement to the press. He reassures the press that he will investigate what happened at Clear Springs very thoroughly and that he is praying for everyone who was injured in the accident.

Jack sees Victor's press statement and storms into Victor's office afterwards to confront him about his refusal to take responsibility for what happened in Clear Springs. Victor demands Jack leave his office, but before he does, Jack pets Zapato and gets a sample of his hair for Maggie to test against the hair found on Ji Min's body.

Jack goes back to the coffeehouse and gives Maggie the sample of Zapato's fur. Maggie says she cannot test it as the police cannot accept evidence collected by civilians. After Jack leaves, Maggie throws Zapato's fur into the trash.

Neil invites Karen to the concert at Indigo and she gladly accepts his invitation.

Noah tells Sharon he had a nightmare about Clear Springs.

J.T. and Colleen agree to put their past behind them and agree to be friends.

Update for Thursday October 18, 2007

Phyllis is ecstatic as she tells Michael she has been granted work release. She excitedly tells Michael how she'll get to have alone time with her daughter and husband, but Michael warns her that if she breaks the rules, she will be sent back to prison with no second chances. He tells her that she will not be able to use work time for time for personal relationships while on work release..

Neil and Nick talk in the Newman break room. Nick says that he was slow coming back to work but that he is ready to resume his position of co-CEO of Newman.

Katherine and Nikki talk over lunch at the GCAC. Nikki informs Kay that she and Victor are filing for a divorce. Katherine reminds Nikki that Victor was there for her, even through her addiction to pain killers. She reminds Nikki that while Victor is stubborn, he still loves her.

At Clear Springs, J.T. informs Joe that he thinks the concrete they are using is substandard. Joe becomes defensive, telling J.T. that the concrete is not substandard and threatens to transfer J.T. if he does not get back to working on the site.

Amber sees Lauren in the coffeeshop. She asks Lauren if she will look at some designs she created. Lauren tells her that she is headed to Clear Springs, but she'll look at them later. Lauren leaves behind some important papers.

Later, Amber calls Lauren and tells her she left her draft behind, but offers to drive it up to Clear Springs the next day. Lauren is grateful.

Victor decides to make Victoria, Nick, and Neil co-CEOs of Newman Cosmetics; each will be in charge of a different division of the company.

Nick visits Phyllis in prison. He tells her that he is co-CEO of Newman again.

Joe calls J.T. and tells him he wants to give him a raise. J.T. asks for the raise in cash and Joe says he wants to talk about it in person.

Update for Friday October 12, 2007

Michael informs Phyllis that the court denied her appeal. Phyllis is distressed and insists she cannot spend one more day in jail. She suggests to Michael that it is time for her to find a new lawyer.

Nick and Jack give Michael a hard time about losing Phyllis' court case and her appeal.

Nick asks his father if he will help Phyllis get into the work-release program.

Colleen meets Adrian in his classroom and gives him all of his slides, arranged in order for his next classes.

Heather tells Paul about her childhood at the coffeehouse. She asserts that she has never had a good role model since her step-dad was an abuser and her real father left when she was little and never cared to find her.

Heather receives a call from her old roommate, Macey's parents and she finds out that her parents did not give Adrian the figurine of the Leaning Tower of Pisa.

Later, Heather stops by Adrian and Colleen's place to return the book she borrowed. She mentions that she talked with Macey's parents and that they said they hadn't given him the figurine. He finally says that Macey had brought it to class for a discussion on Roman architecture.

Jack visits Phyllis in prison. He is amazed to find her composed. While they talk, Rev. Anderson stops by to check on Phyllis. Phyllis is shocked to learn that Jack and the Rev. know each other. She says she and Rev. Anderson have gotten close because there aren't many people in prison she can talk with.

Michael calls a meeting between himself, Jack, Nikki, Nick, and Victor to work on Phyllis' behalf to get her into the work-release program. He tells them they will have to make it look essential for Phyllis to be at her job, helping the Clear Springs project out of the mess it's in.

David Chow visits Jana in prison at her request. She tells him that she is so sorry for murdering Carmen and that she was very sick at the time. She tells him she wants to do something for him and Carmen's parents and that she wants to dedicate the rest of her life to helping people.

Update for Friday October 5, 2007

ADMIN NOTE: Sorry I missed a couple of days, everyone. I've had some personal things to deal with. I'll do my best to be more consistent.

J.T. prepares the Bed and Breakfast where he plans to propose to Victoria later that evening.

Victoria stops by her parents' house to tell Victor that she is heading up to Clear Springs for the weekend. Victor reminds her to take it easy for the baby's sake.

Victoria arrives at Clear Springs and finds a romantic dinner waiting for her. J.T. gives Victoria a bottle of her favorite perfume. Victoria agrees not to focus on work or her family problems for the evening. After dinner, Victoria receives a text message from J.T. asking her to marry him. She's shocked. She and J.T. make a list of the positives and negatives of getting married and they realize there are no negatives. J.T. gives Victoria a beautiful ring with the baby's birthstone in it. She tells him that she is superstitious regarding anything having to do with the baby, so she will wear the ring after the baby is born. J.T. is thrilled that Victoria has agreed to marry him.

David and Nikki learn that Victor owns all the drilling rights in Clear Springs.

Nikki confronts Victor about his plans for the Clear Springs development. She accuses him of not caring what happens to the project, even though she has invested everything in it. They get into a heated argument. David calls Nikki in the middle of the argument and Nikki answers. Victor grabs the phone and slams it down angrily because he feels Nikki is flaunting her relationship with David in front of him.

Nikkie and Victor decide that they can no longer reconcile and they agree to start the divorce process.

Cane meets Heather at the coffeehouse where Amber is working. Seeing Heather and Cane together is driving Amber nuts, so she begs Kevin to call in someone to switch shifts with her. He does, which frees up Amber. She calls Daniel and they make plans to eat dinner at the GCAC.

Meanwhile, Cane suggests to Heather that they go to the GCAC so that they do not have to be near Amber.

Lily and Colleen also wind up at the GCAC. Everyone seems surprised to see each other in the same location.
