Lily enters "Faces of Jabot" contest

The Young and the Restless update for Wednesday December 12, 2007:

Nick and Phyllis watch Jack give his resignation on TV. Nick says he is both angry at Jack and feels sorry for him.

Gloria doesn't know what to say to Jeff's proposal. She tells him that she doesn't love him, but Jeff insists that it doesn't matter because marrying him would be better than spending the rest of her life in jail.

Lily's computer has trouble at the Athletic Club while she is trying to enter the "Faces of Jabot" competition. Daniel helps her fix it and Lily thanks him. Amber tells Daniel that she thinks she as "Marina" can beat Lily in the contest. Daniel tries to remind her that she cannot enter, but Amber doesn't listen.

Gloria tells Kevin about Jeff's proposal. She thinks that once she is married to Jeff, he will take her to the police and spend all of her money while she is locked up in jail.

Jack tells Noah about his resigning from the Senate. Noah hugs Jack in response to this news. Sharon remains furious with Jack and his actions.

Sharon talks to Nick about leaving Jack because she fears she will never be able to trust him, given all the lies he has told. Nick points out that Jack loves her very much. Nick also says he will be sure to make Noah's Christmas a good one no matter whether Sharon decides to stay or leave Jack at Christmas time. Sharon is grateful for that.

Phyllis meets Jack at the GCAC for a drink. They talk about the recent events. Phyllis asks Jack if he helped his father write a new will and Jack avoids the question by telling Phyllis how awful Gloria was. Jack also tells Phyllis that he doesn't know how Gloria tracked down Todd Scheller, John's cell mate. Phyllis recalls that she first found out about Todd and told Jana about him. She believes Jana gave Todd's name to Gloria to help her find out the truth about John's will.

Gloria tells Kevin that she sees no other way out of her situation than to marry Jeff. Kevin is infuriated by this.

Jack's exposed

The Young and the Restless update for Thursday December 6, 2007:

Sharon tries to convince Jack that everything will be okay with the ethics committee. Jack agrees, seeing as his "source" has told him that at least one senator's response to his heartfelt apology was favorable.

Gloria is elated with John's letter. She shows it to Lauren, who comments this is the happiest she has seen Gloria in a long time. Gloria is so thrilled to know that John truly loved her, up to the day he died. When Michael returns home, Gloria shows him the letter and they agree that they need to go back to Madison to speak to the ethics committee again.

Maggie and Heather head over to Newman with a search warrant for Victor's office there. Neil wonders what is going on. Maggie presents him with the warrant and Neil calls Victor to tell him that the police have warrants to search his office and house. David overhears and tries to call Nikki to tell her as well, but she cuts him off, saying that she cannot talk.

Nikki calls David back and tells him that she needs some things from her office. He packs them up and sends them over along with a love letter he wrote to her.

Neil heads over to the Newman Ranch to tell Victor about the search warrants as he did not receive a return phone call from Victor. At that moment, Maggie and other police officers show up to search Victor's home. He is not pleased to see them, but tells them to search quickly.

Victor calls Michael and demands he show up while they search his house. Michael tells him that he can't because he is in Madison. Victor is not pleased with this, but Michael tells him that he will check in with Victor when he returns to Genua City.

Ben informs Jack and Sharon that Victor's office and house are being searched. Ben and Jack are thrilled at this news, but Sharon is displeased and she feels horrible for what Victor is going through.

Michael and Ben meet with the committee chairman to decide if Gloria will be able to read John's letter to the committee. It is decided that she will be allowed to do so.

Gloria and Kevin meet Jack and Sharon outside the senate hearing room. Jack insults Gloria, but John's ghost tells him not to speak to his wife that way.

Victor finds the card David put in Nikki's package and reads it. He is angry, so he leaves the house, not telling Nikki where he's going.

Gloria reads John's letter to the senate committee. It becomes apparent that Jack helped his father write a new will. Gloria becomes enraged, and the senate committee, Jack, and Sharon are shocked at the reading of the letter.

Cane and Heather call it quits

The Young and the Restless update for Tuesday December 4, 2007:

Phyllis convinces Nick to go home with her for a little while. When they get home, Phyllis notices the beautiful flowers Nick had delivered to the house for her arrival. They make love and afterward Nick gives Phyllis a new video game, which they play together while eating pizza.

At the hospital, Colleen asks Lily to fill in for her at the "Go Green" fundraiser for her because she wants to stay at the hospital with her dad. Lily agrees.

Heather and Cane and Neil and Karen are at the fundraiser when Lily and Adrian arrive. Lily and Adrian soon discover that they are seated at the same table as Cane and Heather, which makes for an awkward situation. Lily tries to make small talk.

Adrian and Heather are both interested in the speaker's artwork, so they walk around and Lock at her art while Lily and Cane stay behind at the table and talk. Adrian asks Heather what her former roommate was like as a roommate and Heather reminisces about her friend and roommate Macey.

Dr. Webb tells Nikki and Victor that it is time to think about moving Victoria to a long-term care facility because her condition is stable and the hospital is not equipped to handle long-term care. Nikki and Victor discuss what to do and they agree that they should move Victoria back into the Newman Ranch.

Later, Nikki tells Victor that she wants to be near Victoria as much as possible and she tells him that she'd like to move back into the Ranch as well. Victor inquires about her status with David, but Nikki says the only important thing in her life right now is Victoria. Victor agrees to let her move back in, saying that he thinks Victoria needs her mother around.

Brad asks the doctor for the baby's blood type. Later, the doctor reveals that the baby's blood type is O-positive, which is both Brad and J.T.'s blood type as well. J.T. is angry that Brad went behind his back to try to figure out the paternity of the baby while Victoria and the baby are still so fragile.

J.T., Brad, and Colleen talk about names for the baby.

When the auction is over at the "Go Green" benefit Cane and Neil are both surprised when Karen wins the tickets to a concert both of them were bidding on all night. Karen tells Neil and Lily she is giving one ticket to each of them as Neil had been telling her that he and Lily used to listen to the group all the time when Lily was growing up.

After Neil, Karen, and Lily leave the fundraiser, Heather tells Cane that she could clearly see the chemistry between him and Lily. She also tells him that she doesn't feel any chemistry with him and she thinks they should just be friends. Cane agrees.

Brad tells the baby he is secretly naming him Arthur, after his father, when he is alone with the baby.

Jack's senate hearing

The Young and the Restless update for Monday December 3, 2007:

Michael and Lauren attempt an intervention with Kevin to prevent him from marrying Jana. Kevin refuses to listen, however, and goes to the prison to visit Jana.

Jack prepares for his senate hearing. Ben, Daniel, and Sharon are there to support Jack through the hearing. The hearing starts and Jack is asked questions about his involvement with Jabot. John's ghost appears and urges Jack to tell the ethics committee the truth about why he purchased Jabot, but Jack tells his father he can't tell them the truth.

Brad approaches Nikki as she looks in on Victoria's baby. He tells her that he asked the hospital to hold off on the DNA test and issuing a birth certificate. Nikki is grateful for this.

Jill asks for the senate committee to allow her and Gloria to speak about how Jack's actions affected them as well as Jabot. The committee agrees to let each of them speak. The committee also asks Jack questions about his involvement in the Ji Min murder and his involvement in Clear Springs.

Ben and Jack discuss playing the tape of Victor pressuring Ji Min to get a confession out of Jack about owning Jabot at the hearing. Sharon reminds Jack that he promised her that he wouldn't do that and Jack keeps his word.

Jana tells Kevin that the doctors told her that her tumor hasn't grown back and they do not believe that it will ever grow back. Kevin is overjoyed at this news. Jana, however, maintains that she will not marry Kevin because she will still spend a lifetime in prison. Kevin is relentless in trying to get Jana to change her mind about marrying him.

Ben calls Maggie to check on the tape he gave her of Victor. She doesn't give him any information on what the police department is doing about it. However, when she hangs up the phone, she tells Paul that she will have to get a search warrant for Victor's house. She goes to the hospital and tells Victor she needs to ask him some questions, but Victor demands she leave, telling her that he could have her career ruined if she doesn't leave him alone. Maggie leaves the hospital, but tells Victor that he will have to answer some of her questions soon.
