John Appears to All of His Children

The Young and the Restless update for Wednesday May 27, 2009:

Adam listens via his laptop while Olivia and Victor comfort Ashley after her nightmare about Sabrina. Victor asks Ashley if she can remember her dream, but she tells him she can't remember the details. Adam is frustrated because he wanted to make her nightmare come true! Olivia tells Ashley she had vivid dreams when she was carrying Nate and it's not a problem if it's not disturbing her sleep. Ashley admits she needs to sleep more, but she doesn't want to take drugs. Olivia suggests some lavender under her pillow and Victor offers to get her some. Ashley says she'll try to go back to sleep and Victor and Olivia leave the room.

Gloria and Jeff tromp into the coffeehouse while Gloria complains about how they had to spend four days getting home by boat and bus. Gloria wants to go to the Club to take a bath, but Jeff tells her they've been kicked out and their stuff has been put into storage until they pay! Jeff suggests Gloria sell her diamonds, but she says it's too risky. Jeff says she'll have to borrow money from Michael and Kevin or get a job. Jeff and Gloria search the classified ads and they discover a pent house apartment. Gloria says they have to keep the landlord from finding out they can't afford it, and Jeff loves the idea.

Jack is at home when Jill pays him a visit. She thanks him for helping her with the Caymans situation and then tells Jack they are both victims of Katherine's corporate greed. She says Katherine will never sell the Abbotts Jabot. Jill says she has a great business partnership idea, but Jack doesn't want to have anything to do with it. He tells Jill to talk to the "Mustache" about it! Jill tells Jack he's making a mistake as she leaves. After she's gone, John appears and says Jack could have been nicer to Jill. John says he's disappointed with both of his sons for being petty. Jack points out that Billy slept with Sharon, but John reminds Jack that he slept with Jill when she was married to his father as well. Jack says he doesn't want to talk about that. John reminds Jack to remember that no matter what, Billy is his brother.

Billy calls Chloe in the pool house. He gets her voicemail and he tells her that she's made her point - she and Delia need to come home now! Jill shows up at the pool house and asks Billy what Jack's problem is. She tells him how Jack blew her off when she said she had a great business proposal, and wants to know if Billy will talk to Jack for her. Billy tells his mother that he and Jack are not on good terms right now. Jill wonders where Cordelia is and Billy tells his mother that when he came home, Chloe and the baby were gone. Jill wants to know what Billy did this time, and Billy seems offended that she automatically thinks he did something wrong. Jill says she knows Chloe loves him, but wonders if he wants Chloe back. Billy says he doesn't want to hurt Chloe or lose Delia. Jill remarks that Cordelia will always be a part of his life and she can't blame Chloe for walking out on him because he cannot make a commitment. She tells him he needs to decide if he is in or out.

Raul and Mac chat outside by the pool at the Chancellor mansion. Raul wonders if Billy cheated on Chloe. Suddenly, Chloe appears. Raul offers to go talk some sense into Chloe, but Chloe says she doubts it would do any good. Mac offers to go and Chloe says she thinks it would be worse if she went. Esther comes out and Chloe tells her mother she is done being a doormat. Esther and Chloe go in and Raul tells Mac that perhaps Billy is not in love with Chloe. Raul wants Mac to go back to Washington with him.

Esther and Chloe talk outside. Chloe tells her mother that Billy has shut her out completely. She says she needs to set an example for Delia - she should not be treated this way. Raul tells Mac he was promoted at work and he'd like to hire her and work with her while they are planning their wedding. Mac says she's not ready to leave Genua City yet - she wants to spend more time with Katherine first. Raul worries about how they will see one another - he does not want to be separated from her again, but Mac says they'll figure it out. Mac walks over to Chloe and apologizes for the way things are going between her and Billy. Chloe says this is all Mac's fault. Mac insists it isn't her fault. Raul walks over and kisses Mac good-bye. When he leaves, Chloe says he's a nice guy - too bad he is clueless! Chloe says she's glad Delia is too young to know what is going on as she giggles nearby. Mac and Chloe talk about their childhoods - Chloe assumed Mac had it easy. Mac notes that Chloe really loves Billy. Chloe says that makes two of them. Mac says she doesn't love Billy like that anymore, but Chloe tells Mac that Billy doesn't know this.

Ashley sits and holds a pillow in her bedroom. John appears and greets Ashley. Ashley begins to talk to her father about how scared she is, and Adam is baffled, squinting at the laptop where Ashley appears to be talking to herself. Ashley tells her father how much she wants this baby and she doesn't know what she'll do if she loses it. John tells her not to put so much pressure on herself. She tells her dad that she remembers the dream and lied to Victor about it. She says the doorknob was rattling and Sabrina comes into her room wearing a black veil. She says that Sabrina wanted to smother her and picks up the pillow to do so. Ashley goes back to sleep and wakes up later in pain.

Downstairs, Victor and Olivia talk about having Ashley talk to a therapist again, but Victor doesn't want to push her into another nervous breakdown. Olivia suggests that Victor see a psychologist so that he can learn what signs to look for himself. Olivia gets on the phone to make the arrangements. Adam comes into the room and discusses Ashley's situation with Victor. As Olivia is getting off the phone, Ashley comes downstairs and announces she's bleeding - she's scared she might be losing the baby!

Jill runs into Gloria and Jeff at the coffeehouse and they all try to pretend they didn't lose everything. In the end, though, they all admit they are destitute. They promise one another they will tell no one how broke they are.

Esther sits down with Chloe to chat some more. Esther says she's known Mac a while and she believes she's a straight shooter - she doesn't play games. Chloe gets Billy's message and tells her mom he did not apologize. Esther asks her daughter if it's more important to be right or happy? Jill appears and says she loves having Cordelia at the house - she wished they'd never left in the first place. Jill advises Chloe not to give ultimatums if she is not prepared to live with the consequences - she says Billy is very confused and he could go either way at this point.

John appears to Billy in the pool house and tells him he has a lot of growing up to do! John asks Billy what he's going to do about Chloe and Delia. Billy says he doesn't know - does his father have any suggestions? There's a knock at the door and it's Mac. She wants to know why Billy isn't at the Chancellor mansion trying to get Chloe and his daughter back! Mac tells him if he wants to do right by his daughter, he'll go over there now and get them back. She reminds him that he does not want another man raising his daughter. Billy confronts Mackenzie about marrying Raul. She tells him she loves him, and even if Billy were available she'd marry him because she and Billy can't go back now.

Gloria and Jeff go to Restless Style to talk to the owner of the penthouse they want to rent - Phyllis! Phyllis is surprised they want to rent from her, but agrees to let them do so, provided they give her first and last month's rent and deposit as the lease calls for. Gloria and Jeff laugh about how great this is - there's no need to do any background checks. Phyllis points out that they didn't sign the check before she takes a phone call. Gloria and Jeff congratulate each other on their luck, but realize they only have about $100 after Phyllis cashes their check. Jack appears and he's shocked when Phyllis hands Gloria and Jeff keys as they leave. Phyllis wants to know what Jack wants and he says he wants to talk about Sharon's baby!

Neil Gets Tyra A Lawyer

Katherine and Mackenzie discuss Jill at the coffeehouse. Neither one of them understand why Jill is acting the way she is. Katherine says she has to find a way to get through to Jill. Talk then turns to Mac and Billy. Katherine asks Mac if any part of her decision to stay around Genua City had to do with Billy. Mac avoids the question, and Katherine goes off to find Jill to talk with her.

Lily runs into Karen in the bookstore and asks her how she is. Karen tells Lily she doesn't have to pretend, and Lily isn't sure what she's talking about. Karen is surprised Devon didn't tell Lily about Neil and Tyra. Lily asks her what is going on. Karen tells her she should talk to her father about it, but when Lily presses, Karen tells her that Neil and Tyra had an affair. Lily says her father would never do that, but Karen tells Lily that Neil admitted to it. Lily is shocked, and she assumes that Ana's adoption is on hold. Karen tells her they are moving forward with the adoption, and this worries Lily.

Billy looks out the window and thinks about Mac in the pool house. Chloe and Cordelia are also there. Chloe asks Billy which outfit makes her look more like Mom of the Year. She is preparing for the custody hearing, which is taking place tomorrow. Chloe asks Billy if he's still in love with Mac and hoping for a fairy tale ending, because if he is, they're screwed. Billy assures Chloe he has no plans to cut out on her. Billy admits he loved Mac once and felt something when she returned, but she's gone now, and he's with his family where he should be.

Cane and Michael meet about the custody suit. Cane wants to ensure they win; he wants to go after Billy with everything he has. He asks Michael if that is going to be a problem for him. Michael tells Cane that it's hard for him to imagine two brothers going after each other like this because he'd give anything to have his brother sitting with him right now!

Rafe, Neil, and Tyra meet at the coffeehouse about Ana's adoption hearing. Neil wants Tyra to be able to file her own petition. Rafe is shocked that Neil wants Tyra to file her own petition and to get custody of Ana while he appears to be standing by his wife in court. Rafe tells Neil that what he is suggesting is a major conflict of interest, but offers to refer Tyra to another lawyer all the same. Later, Rafe calls with a referral fro Tyra. Tyra wonders if Neil hates her - she is ruining his life. Neil tells her he doesn't hate her, and kisses her hand as Lily walks in.

Neil follows Lily. She tells her father that Karen told her what happened between him and Tyra. She is angry with him, but admits it isn't her business. Neil tells Lily it isn't her business, but what happened between him and Tyra was a one-time thing, not an on-going affair. Neil tells Lily that he is beginning to think that adopting Ana is a bad idea. When Lily learns that Neil helped Tyra get her own lawyer, she says that they got married in order to hold onto Ana. If they lose Ana, they are going to have to figure out if they love each other enough to stay married.

Rafe visits Billy and Chloe. He says it would be a good idea to take Cordelia to the hearing. They are shocked and wonder if he's trying to say that they might lose! Rafe says that no one knows for sure who is going to win. He wants them to be prepared, but he didn't mean to freak them out in the process. After Rafe leaves, Chloe begins to panic, thinking about the possibility of losing her baby. She wants to go out and get the books of vintage nursery rhymes so she can read them to Cordelia on what might be her last night with her mother. Billy kisses her forehead and reassures Chloe that Cane isn't going to win. Billy goes out to get the nursery rhyme books so they can start reading them to Delia. Esther comes over and tells Chloe that Mackenzie decided to stay after all. Chloe begins to panic and tries to call Billy, but he doesn't answer.

Jill arrives at Jabot for work, but finds all of her things in boxes. She asks who did this, but before a staff member can answer, she says she already knows who did it. Katherine arrives shortly afterward, and finds an angry Jill. Katherine doesn't understand why she's angry - she just wants to talk. Jill tells Katherine that she was fired thanks to her! Katherine said she didn't fire Jill, and she doesn't know what she's talking about. Jill wonders how she ever believed that Katherine loved her as a daughter. Jill believes Katherine only made her CEO of Chancellor because it was expected of her. Now that Katherine knows Jill is not her daughter, she isn't obligated to keep her at Chancellor anymore! Katherine tries to protest, but Jill won't listen. Katherine tells Jill that she's hurt and upset and she's projecting those things onto her. Jill wants Katherine to admit that she never loved Jill as her daughter. Jill keeps pushing and Katherine becomes frustrated. Katherine finally tells Jill that she's glad that this person right in front of her isn't her daughter.

Mac runs into Michael at the coffeehouse and accompanies him to the psychiatric hospital where Kevin is staying. She wants to help Kevin find his way back like she did before. Mac goes into Kevin's room and he backs away as she begins to speak to him. Mac tells him a little about her life and encourages him, telling him she is going to be there for him. Kevin hallucinates the chipmunk again! Mac tells Kevin she'll be back to see him again soon before she leaves his room. Michael is discouraged that Kevin didn't seem to recognize Mac, but Mac assures Michael that she'll come back to see Kevin again - she's still his friend. Inside his room, Kevin whispers, Mac." Michael goes in to see Kevin and reminds him of all the people who love him. Michael tries to touch Kevin's shoulder, but he flinches.

Cane arrives at Jill's office at Jabot and they talk about what happened with Katherine. Jill tells Cane there is a lot of bad blood between she and Katherine and they have fallen back into that dark place again. Jill tells Cane Katherine admitted she is glad Jill isn't her daughter. Cane offers to take her out for dinner to cheer her up. Jill says he's a good son, but she wants him to rest for the hearing tomorrow regarding Cordelia's custody. Cane says he doesn't understand why Katherine is treating Jill this way - he wants Delia even though he isn't her biological father, and he can't understand why Kay doesn't want Jill because they aren't biologically related. Cane leaves and Jill thinks about better times she and Katherine shared as she packs up her office.

At the coffeehouse, Katherine talks with Murphy about Jill. Kay feels Jill is trying to destroy everything good that they shared and she doesn't know what to do. Murphy thinks Jill is lashing out at Kay because she's in pain. Katherine says it's so sad that Kevin is in trouble right now because he believed in her, but Jill never did. Murphy suggests they go home, but Kay asks him if he'd mind if she just sits alone for a while.

Billy is surprised when he finds Mac at the bookstore! He asks her if she got his number from Brock, and when she says she did, Billy wants to know why she didn't call him. Mac tells him to ask his wife! Billy asks her why she really stayed around, but Mackenzie avoids his question. Billy presses her to say that she stayed in Genua City because of him. He suddenly grabs her and kisses her!

Karen and Neil meet up at the Club, and Neil informs her they need to talk about some things before the hearing tomorrow. Karen asserts there's nothing to talk about - they're going forward with the adoption. She says Neil came into her life, and made her believe she could be a mother again. Neil tells her he doesn't want to hurt her to which Karen responds, "Then don't." She leaves to go home.

Lily finds Cane at the GCAC waiting for his mother. Lily tells him he's a great son. Lily tells Cane she'll come to the hearing tomorrow and support him, but she wants him to think about whether this is really the right thing to do or not before he goes in there tomorrow. Cane tells Lily that he's doing the right thing and he's certain of it.

Mackenzie Returns

Jack welcomes Mackenzie as she arrives at the Chancellor Mansion. Billy is shocked to see her. Mac says she came back because she heard that her grandmother might still be alive. Billy introduces Chloe and Mac to one another. They hear the commotion in the other room, and Jack wonders what all the noise is. They all go to see what is going on and find Katherine and Jill fighting in the cake. Chloe is displeased that her wedding cake is ruined. Nikki tells them all they have good news. Katherine says she now has proof that she is Katherine Chancellor and that, "this thing," is not her daughter. She gestures toward Jill. Mac and Billy are both taken aback.

Sharon apologizes for being such a mess and crying on Nick's shoulder. She says she had a terrible day - she left Chloe's wedding because she wasn't feeling well, and then had to deal with Phyllis. Nick said he saw Phyllis being escorted out of the building. She regrets that she and Nick are fighting over her again and asks him to leave. Nick tells her he isn't going anywhere and that Phyllis needs to stop obsessing over her. Sharon reminds him that he recently told her to stop her crap, and Nick admits that he did, but he did so because he was angry that Noah was so upset. He tells her that he is worried about her and wants to understand what is going on - she isn't acting like herself. Sharon asks him to leave it alone, that he should be the last person trying to help her after what happened up at the cabin. Nick tells Sharon that he cannot watch her unravel. She asks him to take care of Noah and to keep Phyllis away from her while she tries to put her life back together. Nick says he will take care of Noah and do his best to keep Phyllis away from her.

Nick leaves, and finds Phyllis outside her door. Phyllis says she didn't want to believe it, but here Nick is coming out of Sharon's room - again. Nick prevents Phyllis from going into Sharon's room and tearing her apart. He guides her away from the room, while Phyllis insists that her not touch her.

Brock welcomes Mac back. Jack says that this news calls for a celebration - Katherine is back! Billy admits he heard Katherine tell the doctor she was a fraud in the hospital, and she explains she had to do that because the doctor didn't believe her and she needed to lie to get out of the hospital. Katherine says the attention of everyone should go back to the bride and the groom, and says she's going to put on cleaner clothes. Nikki takes Murphy for a tour of the Chancellor mansion. Jack wonders if Ashley noticed the way Billy looked when Mac showed up and when they found out they aren't related. Ashley said she noticed and she thinks that all of this is a bad omen - this marriage is a mistake. Jack reminds her that this is the only way Billy can keep Cordelia. Chloe and Colleen talk. Colleen tells her she had a moment of weakness when she stood up for Chloe as her matron of honor. She tells Chloe she should get to know Mac - she has a lot of interesting stories to tell. Billy tells Mac her timing sucks. Mac says Cordelia is beautiful and that she's happy for Billy. Chloe comes over with the baby, and Mac says she needs to go clean up. Chloe says she's sorry about Billy's mom. Billy tells Chloe he can't believe she isn't Katherine's daughter!

Cane arrives at the Chancellor mansion and apologizes to Katherine for not believing her. He says he said some awful things to her, and she tells him it's already forgotten. Katherine introduces Cane to Murphy and they each seem glad to meet one another. Cane finds out that he and Billy are not related. Katherine tells both Billy and Cane that they are both still her grandsons in every way that counts, and that nothing is going to change between them. Jill goes over to Mac who is cleaning up the cake mess and tells her that she never approved of her relationship with Billy, but she must be wondering what might have been. Mackenzie tells Jill that she and Billy were a long time ago and that she's gotten over him.

Esther tells Chloe about Mac and Billy's history. This worries Chloe. She fears that if Billy loved Mac once, he'll fall for her again, but Esther tries to reassure her. She tells Chloe that Billy wouldn't be with her if he didn't want to be - whether she had a baby or not.

Billy goes outside to get some air and to think. Jack follows him, and Billy admits he's been thinking about Mac a lot lately and how different his life could have been with her. Jack tells Billy that he and Mackenzie were a long time ago - he doesn't even really know her anymore. Jack also reminds him that he'll risk losing the baby if he leaves Chloe.

Chloe comes downstairs and Cane makes fun of her for not bagging a Chancellor after all. Chloe says she doesn't care if Billy is a Chancellor or an Abbott because he cares about her. Cane scoffs at her. Billy comes over to Chloe and asks her if she's ready to leave, and she responds she thought he'd never ask! They say their good-byes, and leave. On the way out, Cane wishes them a happy honeymoon. Katherine thanks Jack and Ashley for believing her. She says she can't wait to see what the future holds, and Jack says he can't either. Cane and Mac realize they have something in common - neither of them knew they were a part of the family. Katherine approaches Jill and says she noticed she kept everything in Katherine's room the same. Jill admits she'd give anything to have her mother back, but Katherine is not her mother. Jill says she spent six years of effort and time on this ridiculous relationship. Jill says she owns half of the Chancellor mansion and always will, but she won't live under the same roof with Katherine. She says she's moving out. Katherine and Brock try to convince her to stay to no avail. Jill says her good-byes and leaves.

Jack and Ashley go to the Club to celebrate. Jack thinks there are good things in store for Jabot. He wonders if Sharon will show up, and Ashley reminds Jack there are a lot of problems in his marriage. Jack takes responsibility for the problems in the marriage. Ashley tells Jack it may be time to cut his losses and move on with his life, but Jack says he can't do that right now.

When Phyllis returns home, she and Nick begin to argue. Nick says he's sick of Phyllis being obsessed about Sharon. Phyllis admits she's sick of it, too - she hates being paranoid and jealous and feeling this pain in her stomach, but he did this to her! Phyllis tells Nick that his sweet Sharon is a thief, a liar, a manipulator, and a tramp! She says she has proof that she's been with different men, and wants to know if Nick asked her about being with Billy. Nick says he didn't. Nick wants to know why Phyllis cares who Sharon sleeps with as long as she isn't sleeping with him. Phyllis reminds him that Sharon has slept with him and will again in the future. She reminds him that he said he loved her. He reminds Phyllis that he said he loves Phyllis, too. Phyllis insists that Nick needs to see who Sharon is, but Nick tells her he knows who Sharon is - it is Phyllis that he is seeing for the first time. He tells her he isn't sleeping there tonight.

Once they are alone, Chloe asks Billy about Mac. He says he hasn't seen her in years. He asks Chloe if this is really what she wants to talk about on their wedding night. He kisses her.

Jill and Cane talk at the Club. Jill admits to Cane that her relationship with Katherine felt right, and now she knows why - they aren't related. Cane tells her that just because they are related doesn't mean they have to be enemies. Jill tells him that she thinks they were born to be enemies.

Nikki reminds Katherine to call Mitchell Sherman at the Chancellor mansion so that he can work on getting her death certificate revoked and reversing her will. Katherine says some people won't be happy about losing their inheritance, but Nikki tells her that if they care more about their inheritance than Katherine, then they didn't deserve it in the first place! Nikki embraces Katherine.

Brock tells Mac she doesn't look so well. She finally admits she wonders what would have become of her and Billy.

Jack goes to Sharon's room to tell her the news about Katherine's DNA test and the fact that Katherine and Jill are not related. Jack says it is nice when people have an opportunity to start over. He wonders if Sharon will give him just one more chance - even though he's had plenty of second chances. She tells him she'd only hurt him. She reaches into a drawer and hands him divorce papers. She said she finally signed them and wants him to do the same.

Jack signs the divorce papers down at the bar. He sees Jill and asks her if she was kicked out of the house already. He says next she'll be losing Jabot and Chancellor Industries. Jill tells Jack to shove it - she's not in the mood. She leaves.

Murphy and Katherine get settled in her bedroom.

Chloe awakens to find Billy gone.

Mac sits outside, and is startled when she sees Billy.

Chloe and Billy Rehearsal Dinner Disaster

Sharon gets a call from Jack in her room at the Club. He asks her if she's ready and if she wants him to swing by and pick her up for the rehearsal dinner. Sharon tells Jack she is going to bail on the rehearsal dinner. She says it's a family thing and she doesn't belong there. Jack tells her that she will always be family, whether they are divorced or not, and he isn't going to take, "no," for an answer.

Chloe and Billy get ready for the rehearsal dinner in the pool house. Chloe is still trying to find a Maid of Honor for her wedding, but can't get any of her jet-setting friends to come on such short notice. Billy suggests they move the wedding back a couple of weeks, but Chloe reminds him he said they should get married as soon as possible for Cordelia's sake.

Ashley gets ready to go to the rehearsal dinner at the Ranch. Victor offers to go with her, but she doesn't feel like trying to play peacemaker between him and Jack. Abby comes downstairs and tells her mother she is going to hang out with Victor. She asks Victor to go out to dinner with her since he sent the chef home for the night. Adam comes into the room with his lawyer and says he'd love to join them for dinner, but his leash doesn't reach that far. Victor remarks that it's better than being caged up.

Esther informs Jill she has invited Katherine and her fiance to the wedding. Jill is shocked and appalled that Esther would invite those con artists to the wedding. Esther tells her Katherine is coming back. Jill tells Esther she is headed to bed and won't be attending the rehearsal dinner, saying Billy isn't talking to her. Esther tells Jill she will always be his mother and she should really go to the rehearsal dinner to support him.

Murphy brings Katherine her pills in the trailer. They talk about the rehearsal dinner and the wedding. Murphy remarks that he will probably get lost in her big mansion when they move in. Katherine tells him she'll come find him. Murphy says he'll be happy living anywhere with her.

Noah talks with Eden on his cell phone at Crimson Lights. He learns that she is baby-sitting Cordelia and says he has to go. He finds his mother in the coffee ship who offers to buy him a cup of coffee. Noah apologizes for this morning, he was just caught off guard by her moving again and he understands why she did it. Sharon tells Noah about the rehearsal dinner at Jack's, and Noah offers to go with her for moral support. Sharon takes him up on the offer, telling him how much she appreciates that.

Jill arrives at the Abbott mansion for the rehearsal dinner. The topic of Katherine comes up right away, and Jack and Ashley both get on her for not believing she is alive. Chloe and Billy come into the room and thank Jill for the interesting wedding gift of a pink slip. Esther comes into the room as well, and remarks how they will all soon be one big happy family. Jill utters, "Kill me now." She looks at something John owned and remarks on how he loved it. Jack wonders what his dad would think of Jill now. Colleen comes into the room, and Jill announces she is heading out to the pool house to see Cordelia. Chloe stops her. Ashley says she really likes Chloe! Colleen confronts Billy again about marrying Chloe. Sharon and Noah arrive for the rehearsal dinner, and Billy isn't thrilled to see them. He tries to put on a good front for Noah, but once Noah is gone, he tells Sharon not to come to the wedding tomorrow, and she says she won't. Chloe approaches Sharon and asks her to be her Matron of Honor. Sharon hesitates, saying she promised a friend she'd be somewhere else tomorrow, but Jack thinks this is a great idea. Sharon finally agrees, and Billy is not pleased about this.

Victor and Abby eat at the coffeehouse. She remarks that she feels bad for Adam - she has tried to walk around with her eyes closed and it's really hard. She tells Victor she never knows what to say to Adam. Victor tells her not to worry about Adam.

Rafe brings Adam the things he left at the prison. He tells Adam that there is a letter from Victor in the pile and asks if anyone has read it to him. Adam says no one has, but he guesses it is more of the same old stuff Victor always says. Rafe tells Adam he thinks Adam should hear the letter, so he reads it to him. The letter says this could be a learning experience for Adam if he lets it be, and that Victor loves him, and will always be his son. Adam says maybe there is hope. Abby and Victor return from dinner, and Adam asks Abby if she likes opera. Abby tells him she likes it if she isn't listening to it! Adam then says they have something in common - neither of them knew Victor was their father. He asks her what she is hoping the baby will be - boy or girl. Abby says she doesn't care. Adam asks her if she'll be jealous if it's a girl, and Abby says she doesn't think so. Adam offers her the chance to talk to him about anything, saying he wants to be more than brother and sister, he wants to be friends. Adam heads upstairs, and Victor returns to see if he needs any help. Adam says he is fine, and that he really appreciates what Victor is doing for him, even though he doesn't show it much. He says, "Night, Dad," as he climbs the stairs.

Jack makes a toast to the soon-to-be-married couple. Jill says she has something to say, and tells Billy she loves him. Billy asks her if this means he can have his job back, to which Jill is silent. Sharon wants to find a way out of being Chloe's Matron of Honor, and asks her if Ashley would be a better choice for the job. Chloe tells Sharon she's pregnant and probably won't fit into the dress! Sharon turns to Colleen, but Colleen says no one wants to be in the wedding, least of all the groom. Talk then turns to Chloe and Billy possibly moving to New York for work. Jack asks Jill if she really wants to see Billy move away, but she says Billy is simply making idle threats. Jill says it's this kind of immaturity that made her fire Billy as CEO, and made Chloe pick Cane over him in the first place. Everyone at the table begins to argue until Ashley begins to yell to get everyone to be quiet. She tells them that they might not like it, but tomorrow they will all be family, and they need to learn to deal with it for Cordelia's sake.

Noah sneaks out of the rehearsal dinner and goes to see Eden in the pool house. Eden says Cordelia has been sleeping the whole time, but every time she and Noah try to kiss, the baby fusses. Sharon shows up at the pool house and begins to yell at Noah for being with Eden when they are not supposed to be together. Noah becomes angry, defending Eden - she wasn't the one who put the stolen books into their bag. Sharon says they'll talk about it when they get home, but Noah asks her if she even knows where she's sleeping tonight! He tells her that just because her life is a mess and she is out of control, she cannot control his life.

Jill tells Billy she is leaving. She says that when his marriage fails, she will still be there for him. Colleen tells Billy she'll see him tomorrow, and leaves. Jack thanks Ashley for defending Chloe, and Sharon comes back into the room and tells Jack she is headed back to the Club. Billy bids her good night as Jack walks her out. Chloe leaves with Esther and the baby for the Chancellor mansion. She says nothing has been traditional about this process so far, but she'll give Billy the night before the wedding. When Jack and Ashley are alone, Ashley says she felt a little bad for Jill. She also tells Jack she is worried about Billy and asks Jack if he remembers how his first marriage turned out.

Jill arrives at the trailer as Murphy and Katherine are playing Scrabble. She says she's come because Brock told her to. Jill immediately starts an argument with her as to whether she is Katherine or Marge. They tells Jill Katherine has Lyme disease, but Jill accuses her of injecting herself with it! She also believes Murphy is a con artist. When Jill insults Murphy, Katherine becomes very angry, telling her Murphy is one of the kindest people there are. Murphy questions why Jill doesn't want her mother back, but she tells them that they planned on feeding off of everyone's grief over Katherine's death. Jill demands to know what Murphy wants -- the keys to the Chancellor mansion? Katherine defends Murphy again. Katherine tells Jill all of her money has made her more vindictive and meaner, and she's ashamed of her. Katherine confronts her about firing Billy. Jill orders her to stay away from the wedding and her family. Katherine refuses, saying she was invited to the wedding and she wants mints in her pillow! Jill tells her she will stay in her mother's room over her dead body, and Katherine tells her not to tempt her! Jill leaves when Katherine threatens to arrest her for trespassing. After Jill leaves, Katherine tells Murphy Jill brings out the worst in her, and that tomorrow everyone will know who she really is.

Esther and Chloe arrive at the Chancellor mansion and Esther is excited for her daughter, telling her she is finally getting everything she deserves. Chloe holds Cordelia and tells her things like this don't happen to her, but it's true, tomorrow she will marry Delia's daddy. She vows to make Billy very happy.

Sharon is at Jimmy's drinking vodka tonics. Billy comes in and begins to drink as well. Their eyes lock. They go back to Sharon's room at the Club and begin to make love.

Eden and Noah go to the coffeehouse and try to kiss on the patio, but they are interrupted by the waitress. They complain that they cannot get a minute alone. Noah suggests they take a little vacation, but where? He tries to think while Eden continues to kiss him. He says that she isn't helping him think! The waitress returns with their hot chocolate, and Noah says he's thinking fast.

Colleen Confronts Chloe

The Young and the Restless update for Tuesday March 31, 2009:

Michael and Daniel arrive at the scene of the robbery. They talk with Detective Sloan. Daniel helps him with the security video so they can all view it. They see Kevin waving the gun around while Amber stands at the teller. Daniel tells the detective that Amber would never do anything to hurt anyone, and Michael tells the detective that Kevin suffers from psychological issues. He tries to tell the detective that Kevin is not violent, but when the detective doesn't listen, Michael goes off on a tangent about it. The detective threatens to arrest both Michael and Daniel if they continue to impede the investigation.

Gloria and Jana wait at the coffeehouse to hear something. Gloria gets a call from Jeff, who tells her that the bounty hunter will follow the scent of Kevin's blood. Jana freaks out. She is on the computer, and tells Gloria her headaches keep getting worse. She says she has to go to Minnesota and find Kevin, she knows him better than anyone, but Gloria says she's in no condition to drive. Jana agrees to stay at the coffeehouse at first, but then changes her mind and asks Gloria to watch the coffeehouse for her so she can go find Kevin. Gloria agrees to do that much, asking Jana to bring Kevin home safely.

Kevin and Amber hide in a boxcar. He says they need to wait there for his dad. Amber tells him they need to get him a doctor, but Kevin refuses, telling her his dad said no doctors. Amber tells Kevin she needs to go to the pharmacy to get some supplies for his gross and infected leg, but Kevin is convinced she will either run off or turn him in to the police. Kevin insists his dad is coming for them, but Amber says he isn't going to come. Kevin says his dad is probably waiting for them on the other side of the Canadian border, but Amber refuses to help him get to the other side. Kevin threatens her with the closet, but she reminds them there is no closet in there - they are in a boxcar. She tries to remind Kevin how they rescued Katherine and about Clint, but Kevin isn't snapping out of his state. Amber tells Kevin she is his friend and she is going to go to the drug store to get some things for his leg. Kevin begs her not to leave her alone. Amber promises she'll come back and tells Kevin to sleep while she's gone.

Nick is on the phone in the tack house. Phyllis listens in the background while Nick raves about Sharon to a potential employer. When he hangs up, he tells her he was giving Sharon a job reference. Phyllis tells him he might want to call them back and tell them she's a thief because Sharon stole from them. Phyllis says she stole something when she was over, and Nick wants to know why Sharon was over at the tack house. Phyllis remembers how Sharon came over to ask her not to tell Jack about her and Billy, but she keeps that to herself. Nick tells Phyllis she is being ridiculous. Phyllis tells Nick that Sharon knocked down the monkeys when she was there and when she left, they were gone. Nick asks her if she actually saw Sharon take the figurine, and Phyllis admits she didn't, but she knows Sharon took it. Phyllis asks Nick why he's defending Sharon, and Nick says she's the mother of his son. He tells Phyllis that she is obsessed with Sharon - every time they have a problem she blames it on Sharon. Phyllis yells at Nick that he slept with her! Nick tells Phyllis that he just wants to move forward, and that he made his choice, he is with her. He tells Phyllis he loves her, and Phyllis says she wants to believe him. Nick kisses her, and at first, Phyllis resists, but eventually goes along with it.

At the breakfast table in the Abbott mansion, Sharon and Jack discuss the loss of his job. Jack believes Victor is behind it. He says he wants to get him back. Sharon tells him she can't handle any lies and manipulation right now. Colleen comes into the room and asks Jack if he is ready to get to work. Sharon is surprised Colleen didn't know that Jack was fired from Jabot. She wants to know what they are working on together, and Jack tells Sharon Colleen wanted to talk about the Fresh Face of Jabot. She leaves the room to get more juice. Jack talks to Colleen about the Newman Board of Directors. He offers her advice on how to vote on a new fragrance and how to get other members to vote with her. Jack says Victor will have wasted years of research and development if the board doesn't approve of the new fragrance. Sharon listens from around the corner. She comes back into the room and slams down the juice before she walks out again. Jack follows her, and Sharon begins to yell at him, but remembers what she's done with Billy and begins to apologize to Jack, saying she has no place to judge.

At the pool house, Esther visits Chloe. Esther wants a big wedding for Chloe, but she says she and Billy will just get married at a civil service. Billy comes into the room with Cordelia whose diaper he just changed. Esther learns that Jill fired Billy from his CEO position. She begins to talk about the wedding again, and she and Chloe try to get Billy to agree to have the wedding at the Chancellor Mansion. Billy tells Chloe not to push him or there will be no wedding, and he leaves.

In the boxcar, Kevin sees Terrible Tom. Kevin says he knew that Tom would come back for him - he loves him. Tom says of course he came back for him. Kevin shows Tom the money and says he can get more if his dad wants him to. Tom says he's proud of Kevin. Tom says Kevin's mom tried to make him into a wimp, but he grew up to be just like his dad. Kevin beams at the compliment. Kevin then sees Jana as well. She tells him it is time for him to come home. Tom orders Kevin not to listen to her. Jana tries to convince him that he needs to come home to all of the people who love and care about him, but Tom tells Kevin no one cares about him. Finally, Jana disappears, and Tom threatens Kevin if he is not over the Canadian border by nightfall.

The detective orders Daniel and Michael to stay in the bank so they don't interfere with their investigation. Daniel tries to leave when he sees Amber walking by outside, but they won't let him leave. Jana arrives at the bank and they all watch the security tape again. Jana notices Amber is saying something to the camera. Daniel figures out that Amber is mouthing, "Help me!" to the camera, as Jeff comes into the bank. Daniel says that Kevin made Amber do the robbery, but Jana wonders why she kicked the gun away from the guard and helped Kevin get away. Kevin reminds them all that Kevin burned down Gina's and that he tried to kill Jana. Kevin says he likes Kevin, but if he has to pick only one, he is going to pick Amber.

Billy talks with Colleen at the Abbott mansion. He informs her that Esther wants to throw him and Chloe a wedding in the Chancellor mansion. Colleen says that will be tough because that is where he married Mackenzie and they were in love. Billy tells Colleen that he and Chloe aren't two people crazy in love - they are just two crazy people. Colleen tells Billy she'll come to his wedding and leaves the room. Jack comes into the room and encourages Billy to start his marriage off right in front of people, not in city hall. Billy tells Jack he feels like bolting right now, but Jack tells him that his mom is capable of anything and he needs to marry Chloe and make Cordelia an Abbott, now.

Upstairs at the Abbott house, Sharon remarks how she and Jack fell right back into their old patterns. He says that those old patterns weren't so bad, were they? Jack kisses Sharon.

Later, when Sharon comes downstairs, she runs into Billy. She asks about his marriage to Chloe, and tells him he shouldn't knock it, she's been floating from day to day and it isn't so great. Jack comes downstairs and suggests he, Sharon, and Noah go out to dinner, but Sharon declines. He suggests another night, but Sharon tells him the three of them aren't going to have dinner together any night. She tells Jack she realizes she has been using Jack, and she needs to move back to the Club. Jack tells her they can go back to sleeping in separate bedrooms and being platonic, but Sharon insists she needs to leave. She kisses his cheek before she walks out the door.

Colleen visits Chloe in the pool house. Colleen tells Chloe that Billy will never love her. She tells Chloe Billy has been in love before. Chloe slams the door in her face. Chloe picks up Cordelia and tells her she knows Billy has commitment issues, but they will still get married and be a family together. Billy comes in and tells Chloe they should start their marriage off right - he will marry her in the Chancellor mansion after all. Chloe is thrilled - she kisses his cheek and tells Cordelia daddy will look cute in a monkey suit.

When Amber comes back to the boxcar, Kevin thinks she is Jana. Amber tells him that it is her - Amber. Kevin is surprised she came back. He wants to get going so that they can get across the border in time, but Amber wants him to take medicine and allow her to dress his wound first. They hear sirens and Kevin says they are outlaws. He tells Amber there is no way they will take them alive.

Billy Believes Katherine Is Alive

The Young and the Restless update for Tuesday March 10, 2009:

Nikki arrives at Nick and Phyllis’ to baby-sit Summer. Vicki calls and tells Nick about the explosion. Nikki tells them she’s heard about Victor’s announcement. Nick informs her that there’s been an explosion and that the woman calling herself Katherine is in the hospital. Nikki chooses to focus on the fact that Amber, Esther, and Gloria are all right, and insists she is not upset. She tells Nick and Phyllis to go enjoy their evening.

At the ranch, Victor and Ashley are being affectionate with one another. Ashley tells Victor she’s glad he had his vasectomy reversed and that the baby is a miracle. Victor tells Ashley the fact that they found one another is a miracle as well. Ashley reminds Victor that she was told she could not conceive after she lost Robert and begins to worry that something bad will happen to the baby. Victor reassures her that nothing is going to happen. He asks her to marry him. Estella comes in and asks if they would like any tea.

At the coffeehouse, Jill calls Cane to fill him in on what happened to Esther. She tells him that imposter is at the hospital, and Cane says he’ll head over there to check on Esther. When Jill hangs up, Jack asks her if she’s sure the woman isn’t actually her mother. Jill tells Jack she’d know if her mother were alive – she’d feel it in her heart. Jack accuses Jill of not wanting her mother back because she has more autonomy and control this way. Jill gets angry and leaves.

At the hospital, Katherine still cannot remember Murphy, Joe Jr., or Pearl. Katherine asks Murphy to tell her something that she might remember him by. He offers a few memories of their time together, but she doesn’t remember any of them. Murphy finally mentions Phillip, and Katherine can remember he is her late husband. Murphy realizes she has lost the memory of the last few months.

Everyone in the waiting room, including Michael, Jana, Chloe, Billy, and Esther gasp at the photo of Kevin with the bomb. Billy is quick to point out that Kevin has a long criminal record and tells Detective Gil he needs to find Kevin before he blows someone else up. Michael tells Billy to be careful making accusations like that. Jana, Michael, and Gloria don’t believe Kevin had anything to do with the bomb. Esther tells Detective Gil that Kevin was outside the motel room talking to Clint earlier. She then goes to visit Katherine in her hospital room. Esther is confused when she sees Murphy in there with her, but Amber tells Esther that it’s Murphy, and that he and Katherine are good friends. When the women enter the room, Murphy ducks out. Amber and Esther try to help Kay remember the past few months, starting with the fact that everyone believes she’s dead.

When Victor goes to take a call, Ashley asks Estella if she’s seen the red egg that Sabrina bought for Victor because it seems to be missing. Estella believes Ashley is accusing her of stealing it, but Ashley assures her she isn’t. When Estella goes upstairs, she overhears Ashley tell Victor that down the road, they may get married, but she doesn’t want to get married right this second.

At the hospital, Billy and Chloe have a discussion about Katherine/Marge. Billy admits that if Esther believes the woman is Katherine, then he isn’t sure she isn’t. At that moment, Cane and Lily come up to them. Cane tells him he thinks the woman is Marge, but Billy tells him he thinks that because their mother believes that.

Billy goes in to see Katherine. She asks him how his flight from Hong Kong was, and Billy is confused. Esther explains that Katherine has no short-term memory right now. Billy realizes that Marge couldn’t know the things Katherine is talking about and embraces his grandmother. Cane enters the room, and Billy warns him to be nice to Katherine. Kay tells Billy she is capable of handling his brother on her own, and that she’ll answer all of Cane’s questions. Cane asks her a few questions, but Katherine can’t remember the memories he is asking about. Esther tries to explain to Cane that Katherine only has very limited memory, but Cane offers her money to just go away and leave the family in peace.

Outside the room, Chloe and Lily trade insults. When Cane comes out, he admits the woman looks like his grandmother, but he knows she isn’t her. Billy follows Cane out of the room and demands to know how he could put her through all of that. Billy reminds Cane he’s only known her for two years while Billy has known his grandmother his whole life. Billy asserts that Katherine is his grandmother.

Nick and Phyllis run into Jack at the coffeehouse. Phyllis tells Jack she is surprised he isn’t going nuts over the news. He thinks she is referring to Esther surviving the crash, and is confused. Nick informs Jack that Ashley is pregnant. When Phyllis leaves to get some coffee, Jack and Nick exchange a few comments about Sharon.

At the hospital, Katherine expresses her frustration over her inability to remember. Esther ask Katherine if she’s thought about going home, but Katherine insists she can’t impose herself on Jill, someone who doesn’t even believe she is alive.

At the coffeehouse, Jana, Daniel, Michael, and Gloria try to think of a way they can find Kevin before the police do. Daniel admits he’s been worried about Kevin because he’s been so wrapped up in finding Katherine. Jana catches Gloria looking at the photo of Kevin and believes Gloria thinks Kevin actually did it. She is outraged, and then accuses Gloria of planning the entire thing herself so that she could be the hero. Michael tells Jana Gloria is capable of many things, but putting Kevin in danger isn’t one of them. Detective Gil arrives and delivers an envelope to Jana. Michael says he’s her attorney and takes the envelope from the Detective. He tells Jana it is a search warrant for the coffeehouse. Detective Gil tells them that Kevin is their prime suspect in the explosion. He says they also have a warrant to search their home.

At the tack house, Nikki remembers when she and Victor had Nick. Estella arrives and tells Nikki she doesn’t like Ashley. She tells Nikki that Ashley accused her of stealing. Nikki tells her to give it time, but Estella tells Nikki she doesn’t believe Ashley likes her and the feeling is mutual. She also tells Nikki that Victor wants to marry Ashley so soon.

When Nick and Phyllis arrive home, they stand outside the door and kiss.

At the diner, Murphy, Pearl, and Joe Jr. discuss why all those rich people care about Marge; Joe Jr. believes all they care about is Katherine’s money, but Murphy insists they are quality people and really care about Katherine. Murphy tells them he doesn’t think he should hang around her anymore because he will remind her of all the bad things she’s been through. Pearl tells him he should go see her again, if only to say good-bye. Later, Murphy looks out the window and says goodbye to Katherine and tells her he will miss her.

Billy arrives at the Abbott mansion. Jack asks about Chloe and Billy tells him he’s been holding her hand at the hospital for the past couple of hours. Billy asks for a drink, and Jack says he’s had a rough night, too. Jack tells Billy that Ashley is pregnant with Victor’s child. Billy tells Jack that his grandmother is still alive. Jack tells Billy to go be a father, and Billy leaves.

Cane arrives at the Chancellor mansion and tells Jill whoever the woman in the hospital is, she isn’t Katherine. He tells her she doesn’t have to worry about that woman anymore. Jill thanks him.

Katherine Can't Remember the Explosion

I'm sorry this is late - my computer has been having a lot of problems lately. I will post today's update later tonight as usual, then I will be on schedule again.

The Young and the Restless update for Monday March 9, 2009:

Nick kisses Sharon in her room at the club. She stops him and asks him what he’s doing. He apologizes and says he hates to see her hurting. Sharon reminds Nick he doesn’t want Phyllis to find out he is there. He leaves, apologizing again as he does so. After Nick is gone, Sharon calls someone and asks if they can come over because she doesn’t feel like being alone.

At the coffeehouse, Billy hangs up his phone, telling Chloe that was a friend on the phone. Chloe reminds him he made a commitment. Billy said he made a commitment to Delia, not to her, but Chloe reminds him that they are a package deal.

Michael and Lauren talk with Daniel and Jana at the coffeehouse. They inform them that Amber and Kevin have been missing for hours and they believe they are looking for Katherine. Michael is surprised they are still looking for her since the DNA test proved she wasn’t Katherine.

The bomb has exploded at the motel; everything is in ruins and on fire. Esther cries, looking for Katherine. She finds her unconscious, and tries to wake her up. Gloria is also there.

Once at home, Phyllis wonders how Summer will react to hearing Victor is going to have a baby. Nick tells her they should hold off on telling her, but Phyllis reminds Nick he was pretty excited about the news. She says she wished Nick had been at the table for the announcement. Nick begins to explain about how upset Sharon was, but Phyllis doesn’t want to hear it. She just wants to know if what he told her in the lobby was true. When Nick says it was true, Phyllis says she trusts him. Phyllis goes to take a shower and Nick follows her. They make love in the shower.

Jack arrives at Sharon’s room. He wonders if something has happened. Sharon tells him she is losing it. He massages her shoulders and asks her why she’s being so hard on herself. He reminds her if someone else had gone through even one of the things she’s gone through lately, she wouldn’t be as hard on her as she’s being on herself. Sharon tells Jack he doesn’t know how bad it’s gotten, and she doesn’t want to tell him because she’s afraid of losing the only friend she has left. Jack assures her that this would never happen.

At the coffeehouse, Jill arrives and teases Billy about having the baby out so late. She receives a call from Esther. Jill begins to lay into Esther about how she hasn’t been around lately, but Esther tells her there’s been an explosion and she needs to come to the hospital. Jill tells Billy and Chloe and they all rush out to the hospital.

At the explosion site, Esther watches as Katherine is strapped to a board and loaded into an ambulance. Amber, Esther, and Gloria arrive at the hospital and watch as Katherine is wheeled into the ER. Esther and Amber give Katherine encouraging words as she’s wheeled off. Gloria sits in a wheelchair, waiting to be seen by a doctor. She makes a call to the press, telling the reporter she’ll give her an exclusive because she just helped save Katherine Chancellor’s life.

Kevin sits in the backseat of Clint’s car between Annie and Roger. Clint tells them to get him to shut up and stop acting like a six-year-old. Annie reminds Clint that Kevin is drugged. They hear on the radio that there were no fatalities in the explosion, meaning Esther and Katherine can identify them.

At the diner, Pearl, Joe Jr., and Murphy listen to the radio report about the explosion, where Marge’s name is mentioned as one of the possible survivors. They all grab their coats and head out to Memorial Hospital.

In Sharon’s room, she tells Jack he is so good to her. They kiss passionately, but Jack pulls away, telling Sharon this is not what she needs right now. Sharon insists that it is what she needs, and tells Jack not to say no to her. They hit the bed, but in the middle of making love Sharon calls out Nick’s name instead of Jack’s. He stops making love to her and dresses. Sharon apologizes, but Jack says this is probably for the best. He leaves.

Jill, Billy, and Chloe arrive at the hospital. Chloe is so happy her mother is okay. Esther tells Jill that she was right about Roger, but that she’s wrong about Katherine – she is still alive, and she’s here at the hospital.

A reporter arrives to interview Gloria. Gloria tells her that it is, thanks to her that Katherine is alive. She claims that she and Katherine are the best of friends. Amber stands nearby, listening and rolling her eyes.

Esther tries to convince Detective Gil and Jill that “Marge,” is really Katherine. When Jill still won’t buy it, Esther starts screaming and jumping up and down. Chloe asks for a sedative for her mother.

Michael, Lauren, Jana, and Daniel arrive at the hospital and find Gloria. She tells them she went through a wall. Jana wants to know where Kevin is. She gets very upset and tells Amber she should have put a stop to this nonsense a long time ago, because that woman isn’t Katherine. Daniel and Michael go out to look for Kevin. Gloria tells Michael to bring him home.

Nick and Phyllis discuss what to have for dinner, and agree on pizza. Nick goes upstairs to look the number up on the Internet. Nick’s phone rings, and it is Sharon. Phyllis answers the phone. Sharon is surprised. She tells Phyllis she thought she was calling Jack because he left his jacket there, but Phyllis tells Sharon she is getting tired of her games. She also tells Sharon she doesn’t know what she said to him tonight, but it lit a fire under him and he was very passionate when they got home.

In Katherine’s room at the hospital, she comes to. The doctor asks her if she knows what her name is and she says its Katherine Chancellor. She asks if she's in the hospital because her daughter put her there for observation. She tells the doctor she's been having senior moments. The doctor asks if she remembers the explosion, and Katherine says she doesn't. The doctor goes to inform her family that she is awake, but claiming she’s Katherine. Amber and Esther insist that she is Katherine. Jill gets frustrated and leaves.

Billy tells Chloe he thinks it’s sweet she cares for her mother so much. He tells her now they have someone who will love her just as much, too. Billy assures her that he won’t let Cane take Delia away. They tell Esther they have moved in together, and she thinks that is wonderful. She tells Chloe it is no wonder why she loves Billy so much.

Michael and Daniel arrive at the explosion scene. They ask Detective Gil about Kevin, but the Detective tells them there are no human remains. They file a missing persons report. Michael tells Daniel his brother is probably doing something ridiculous right now.

Michael and Daniel head back to the hospital, breaking the bad news that they couldn’t find Kevin. They tell Jana it’s good that he wasn’t at the motel, but she is frantic. She thinks Clint must have done something to him. Suddenly, Detective Gil arrives and asks if anyone knows anything about this. He presents them with a picture of Kevin holding the bomb on the motel couch. They are all shocked.

Jack runs into Jill at the coffeehouse. She is disappointed in his flat spirit. She suggests he sit down for coffee with her, that they can go back to being mortal enemies tomorrow. Jack says it is a good idea, and joins her.

Clint tells Kevin it is time to go back into the trunk. He screams and begs for them not to put him in there, but they pick him up and put him in anyway.

The doctor tells Katherine she has some cuts and bruises, but otherwise she is okay. He tells her she has some visitors, and Murphy comes into the room. He sits down beside her and tells her how worried he has been about her. Katherine is confused and asks if she knows him.

Esther Delivers A Ransom Note

The Young and the Restless update for Wednesday March 4, 2009:

Katherine tries to convince Clint of who she is. She keeps telling him different memories she has of their past. Each time, he says Marge would know the same thing. Finally, Katherine recalls a memory about Rex Marge wouldn't know, and Clint is convinced she is who she says she is.

Gina warns Amber to stay away from Clint. However, Amber still wants to help Katherine and ignores the warning. Daniel is upset because Amber is putting herself in danger to help Katherine.

Phyllis asks Nick if he thought Sharon was behaving strangely at the party. She tells him she saw Sharon swipe a silver picture frame from the party and that's she's concerned about Sharon. Nick tells her not to worry about Sharon before he goes to the gym.

At Crimson Lights, Sharon buys a coffee. She looks in her purse and discovers the silver picture frame. She is uncertain how it got there. Kevin comes up behind her to compliment the frame, and Sharon startles.

At the Chancellor mansion, Jill tries to convince Chloe to stay. She tells Chloe that both Jack and Billy are using her. She says that Jack wants her to move into the Abbott mansion to ensure Cordelia is raised as an Abbott. Jill tells Chloe she should stay there with her and Esther where she and Delia are loved and supported.

Billy is surprised Jack could convince Chloe to marry him and move into the mansion. Jack admits he told Chloe that he thought Billy had feelings for her. Billy is angry, but Jack reminds him that if he doesn't try to make the marriage work with a woman who is crazy about him, he may lose her and Delia to Cane.

Billy meets with Chloe at the Chancellor mansion. Chloe tells him that she and Delia are a package deal. She tells him he needs to try to make the marriage work or she won't marry him and move into the mansion. Billy finally tells her he will try. He says he'll move in with her and Delia. They have an awkward hug.

Clint unties Esther and gives her a ransom note to give to Jill. He tells her if she messes up, he will kill Katherine, then Annie, and then he'll hunt her down and kill her too. Esther is panicked, but Katherine tells her to just do her best.

Amber tells Kevin about Clint. They find a mint wrapper they believe might lead them to his location. They call the company and find out where they deliver. Daniel tries to stop them. He finally gets Amber to promise to stop looking for Katherine for her safety. After Daniel leaves to meet with an art dealer, Amber and Kevin leave to check out the motels where the mints are delivered.

Gina meets with Jill and tells her that Clint is back in town. Jill believes he and Marge are working on another scheme.

Phyllis asks Jack for help with Sharon. She tells Jack Sharon is fragile and she asks him to be there for her when she falls apart. Jack wants to know what Phyllis' scheme is, but Phyllis says she's simply concerned about Sharon.

Nick runs into Sharon at the club. He asks her if she took the picture frame from the party, and she comes up with a reasonable explanation, telling Nick she wanted to have it engraved for Victor's birthday, but Nick isn't sure she's telling the truth. Later, when Nick sees Phyllis, he tells her Sharon is fine.

Esther finds Jill and tells her that Roger and Clint are keeping Katherine for ransom. Jill refuses to pay a dime, though, because she believes Esther is being conned. She tells Esther Clint won't kill anyone.

Katherine tries to convince Roger to let her go in exchange for a handsome reward. Amber and Kevin knock on the door and Clint panics. He sends Annie out to talk to them. She convinces Amber and Kevin that she hasn't seen Katherine before they move on.

Chloe begins to move into the Abbott mansion. At the same time, Billy shows up at Sharon's room in the club and the two begin to make love.

Esther Discovers Katherine

Annie tells Katherine Roger has been married many times before and he'll take everything Esther has and break her heart in the process. Katherine feels helpless to help her dear friend.

At the mansion, Jill tries to tell Esther once again that Roger is conning her, but Esther doesn't want to believe it. Jill receives flowers from Jeff and she runs out of the house to confront him.

Gloria calls Jeff again and leaves him a message telling him she is free. Michael tries to get Gloria to walk away from Jeff in order to make a new start for herself, but Gloria says she likes the games they play and she loves him. She tells Michael and Lauren she will no longer be staying with them and leaves to see Jeff at the Athletic Club.

At the club, Jill confronts Jeff in his room. She is furious with him, telling him there is nothing going on between them, and that she only slept with him as a one-time thing. Jeff tells her he loves it when she gets mad. They end up in a passionate kiss.

Chloe tells Esther she really messed up with both Billy and Cane, but she wanted to do the best she could for her baby. Delia begins to cry as Roger arrives. Roger tries to get Esther to sell her half of the estate to Jill so they can move to a new home, but Esther refuses to do so, telling him it is out of the question. Roger then pushes her to go on their honeymoon, but Esther tells him she wants to wait because Chloe needs her. Chloe comes back downstairs as Roger is leaving, angry. Chloe tells her mom she should go after Roger, so she does.

Billy asks Lily if she and Cane are going to get back together now that Chloe is out of the way. Lily evades the question, and Billy takes that as a, "yes." Lily says they aren't going to get back together, but it isn't his business anyway. Billy tells Lily he is going to help Chloe help raise Delia.

At the coffeehouse, Cane tells Niel that Delia isn't his child. He explains to him the whole mess that was created. He also tells Niel that his feelings for Lily haven't changed, and that he wants to get back together with her. Niel tells him to leave Lily out of the mess, that she's been through enough already.

Later on at the coffeehouse, Karen and Niel discuss Ana and Tyra. Karen expresses her frustration with Niel not telling Tyra about the adoption as well as lying to the police for her. She finally admits she saw Niel kiss Tyra. Niel tries to tell her it isn't what it seemed, but Karen isn't buying it. Karen tells Niel he shouldn't have married her if he didn't love her and storms off.

Katherine uses Annie's bitterness and frustration against Roger and Clint to help her escape. Annie unties Katherine, but when she goes to get her purse, Roger walks in, wondering what is going on. Esther comes in just behind him and wants to know what is going on as well, especially after she sees Kay.

Michael tells Lauren he is anxious to have life be normal for just a little while for a change.

Gloria goes to surprise Jeff at his room only to find Jill there. The two of them get into a fight over Jeff, but soon realize he isn't worth it. Gloria leaves angry. Jill starts to leave, then gets sucked back in, saying she does like sticking it to Gloria. She falls back into bed with Jeff.

Gloria tells Michael and Lauren that it is over between her and Jeff and asks them if she can stay with them for a while until she finds her own place.

Esther and Katherine have an emotional reunion. Annie introduces herself to Esther as Roger's wife. Esther demands to know what Roger is doing. He tries to explain, but Esther doesn't buy it. She slaps him and they prepare to leave. Clint arrives, slams the door shut and tells everyone that no one is going anywhere. He tells Katherine she really messed up and now everyone must really suffer because of it.

While Billy holds Cordelia, Chloe tells him she lied because she was afraid if he knew, he'd run. Billy admits before Cordelia was born he was scared, but now he wants to raise her with Chloe. He asks Chloe to marry him and to fight for custody of their daughter.

In the bookstore, Cane asks Lily if she will help him raise Cordelia. He also asks her if she will marry her, and she is stunned.

Billy Wants to Father Cordelia

The Young and the Restless update for Thursday February 26, 2009:

Cane and Billy fight about who is Delia's father. Billy gives her a rattle, but Cane tells him that isn't anything compared to what he's done. Billy doesn't believe paying for some medical bills was doing a lot for Delia either. Cane tells Chloe to take the baby upstairs and Esther encourages her to do so. After they've gone, Cane tells Billy if he wants to do something good for Delia, he will walk out the door and stay out of her life for good.

At the prison, Gloria is anxious because her trial starts today and she still hasn't seen Michael.

At the bookstore, Michael and Lauren arrive to find out Eden is being arrested for shoplifting. When Eden is finally able to explain to Michael and Lauren that she took Noah's bag out of the store to give it to Noah and Sharon, they understand that she did not steal the books. While they wait to talk to the manager, Michael realizes he needs to leave for Gloria's trial, and he leaves the bookstore for the courthouse.

Phyllis runs into Noah at the coffeehouse, and he asks her how she and Nick are doing. Phyllis thinks it is sweet for Noah to be concerned about her, and Noah tells her she is a great step mom and he wants her to be happy.

Eden calls Noah, who is with Phyllis, and tells him she is going to be arrested for shoplifting. Phyllis and Noah head over to the bookstore to see if they can help her.

At Jack's, Jack tells Nick he is responsible for Sharon's state of mind, and that he needs to leave her alone like he keeps saying he'll do. Jack tells Nick Phyllis is probably just as much a wreck as Sharon and that she's probably hiding it because she's terrified of losing her marriage.

Sharon talks to her mom about how she is doing. Sharon tells her mom that she has been losing moments of time; she blacks out and doesn't know where she is or what she's doing. Doris reminds her that this has happened to Sharon before, when she had her car accident, but Sharon doesn't wanted to be reminded of that. Later, Doris pushes the issue again, and Sharon admits she feels responsible for Brad's death. Her mom tries to convince her she isn't at fault. She tells Sharon she should talk to a therapist, but Sharon insists she doesn't need to talk to a therapist.

Phyllis and Noah arrive at the bookstore. Noah waits outside with Eden while Phyllis goes in to find Lauren. Phyllis and Lauren try to talk to the bookstore manager, but he says he is going to prosecute Eden. He says he wants to make an example out of her for other kids because he is sick of other kids stealing from him. Phyllis calls Nick for back-up as things between him and Jack escalate.

Nick calls Sharon at the hospital to tell her what is going on with Eden. She finds the elephant figurine in her purse, and tells her mother she has never seen it before. She realizes the last time she had that purse was when she was at Brad's funeral.

The argument between Cane and Billy escalate while Jill tries to calm them down. Cane punches Billy. Chloe is worried about Billy because he is bleeding. He leaves. After he's gone, Cane asks Jill to take Esther and Delia upstairs so he can talk to Chloe alone. Once alone, Cane tells Chloe he will be in her life and he will be stopping by the house to check up on the baby. He tells Chloe that if she tries to keep him from the baby, he will cut her out of the baby's life. Chloe reminds Cane she is Delia's mother, but Cane tells her that Cordelia doesn't need her.

Billy goes to Jack's and tells him about the fight he had with Cane. Billy tells Jack he wants to be Delia's father because he loves her and feels a connection with her. Jack tells Billy whatever he needs, legally or financially, he will give it to him to help Billy get parental rights to his daughter.

In court, Heather is forced to drop the murder charges against Gloria given the evidence Paul found on Emma's death. Michael reminds the judge and Heather that the face cream's chain of command was never established. The judge really lets Gloria have it because he believes she tainted the face cream, but he says since there is no concrete evidence of that, he has no choice, but to vacate the charges against her. The judge tells Gloria she is free to go. Gloria tells Michael how appreciative of him she is. She then tells Michael that she's going to call Jeffrey to come pick her up. Michael is shocked she'd want anything to do with him, but Gloria tells him that Jeff is the right man for her and she hates being alone. Gloria leaves Jeff a message, saying she'll forget all the nonsense about divorcing her and she is now free.

At the bookstore, Sharon is very angry and she lashes out at Eden. She says some very harsh things to Eden, which Noah gets upset about. Noah asks if Sharon put the books in the bag by accident, but Sharon is outraged that he would even think that. Everyone is shocked as to the tone Sharon takes with Eden. Sharon tells Nick Noah can no longer see Eden. Nick tries to get her to reconsider, but Sharon won't listen; she tells him to stay away from her.

Sharon goes to Brad's house to return the figurine and is overcome with emotion. Consequently, she drops the figurine on the floor where it shatters. Sharon runs outside and sinks against the door and cries.

Esther Learns the Truth About Cordelia

The Young and the Restless update for Wednesday February 25, 2009:

Victor gives Ashley a belated Valentine's Day present. He tells her he thinks Jack is behind Colleen's taking Brad's seat on the Newman board of directors.

Colleen informs Jack she is going to pack her things and move into her father's house because he left it to her. Ashley arrives at Jack's and asks him if he has been filling Colleen in on the Newman bylaws. When Colleen comes back downstairs, she tells Ashley she wants to honor her father, and that a little part of her wants revenge on Victor, but mostly she wants to make her dad proud.

The doctor tells Chloe she can finally go home today. Chloe isn't all that thrilled and tells Esther she would be happy to be going home if she had a home to go to. She finally tells her mother that Cane is not the father of Cordelia. Esther is shocked. Chloe tries to explain that she tried to tell her before, but she didn't want to ruin Esther's wedding. Esther tells Chloe she and Delia will move in with her at the Chancellor mansion and she and Chloe can raise Delia together. Chloe is worried that the baby will pay for her mistakes; she wants her baby to have a father growing up.

At Jabot, Cane tells Jill that he is filing for divorce. He also lets her know that he is filing for full custody of Delia. Jill is shocked. Cane says he wants to make sure Delia is taken care of, and Jill ensures him, no matter who has custody of Delia, she will make sure the baby is being cared for.

Noah and Eden hang out and are glad to not have to sneak around anymore. Noah asks Eden to see a movie with him, and she agrees. Later, Noah introduces Eden to Victor and the three of them have a talk before Eden and Noah go get their books for school.

Jack and Billy talk about the baby. Billy can't decide what to do, and Jack tries to convince him he doesn't have to be a perfect father to be a good father. Sharon arrives at the house and things are rather awkward between her and Billy. While Jack is out of the room getting Sharon's pay stubs for her taxes, Sharon and Billy agree not to tell Jack about their night together. Billy leaves before Jack comes back. When Jack returns with Sharon's pay stubs, he apologizes again for all the mistakes he made in their marriage. He tells her she can always count on him. He even says they can try their marriage again if Sharon drops the divorce, but Sharon says she doesn't deserve him and runs out of the house before Jack can find out why she feels that way.

At the jail, Heather visits Adam. Adam tells her he needs her help. She tells him she won't get him out of jail. Adam tells Heather he has an awful rash that is getting worse, yet the nurse won't treat it. He asks Heather if she will put a request in for him to see a dermatologist. She says she will do that for him, but doesn't want him to read anything into it. Adam tells her he knows that they are over for good, and he understands that.

At the hospital, Cane tells Chloe he is getting a divorce. Chloe apologizes for what she's done and tries to explain why she did what she did. Cane doesn't care. While Esther is talking on the phone out in the hall, she sees Billy stop by Chloe's room, and realizes he is the baby's father.

Billy goes to see Rafe and talks to him about what his options are regarding Delia.

Sharon gets Noah's books. She sets them down on a display and slips a couple of books into the bag, seemingly unknowingly. Noah and Eden bump into her at the store, and Sharon gives Noah the bag. Sharon receives a call from the hospital, alerting her that Doris has collapsed. She and Noah run out of the store without the bag of books, and when Eden tries to run after them with the bag, she is caught with the items Sharon stole.

Heather runs into Victor and tells him that Adam isn't doing so well in jail. Victor tells her that jail will do him some good. She tells Victor there is a difference between tough love and cruelty. Victor reminds Heather how much Adam used and deceived her, and she walks away.

At the Chancellor mansion, Jill and Chloe clash. Jill finally asks the three of them - herself, Chloe, and Esther - to call a truce and to put the baby's interests first. They all agree. Billy and Cane walk into the mansion at the same time to see the three of them caring for the baby.

Adam's request to see a dermatologist is granted.

Kevin and Amber Work to "Free Katherine"

The Young and the Restless update for Tuesday February 24, 2009:

At the coffeehouse, Kevin and Amber work on "Free Kay" T-shirts. They brainstorm ideas while Jana and Daniel work on his art career. Jana tells Daniel she has a connection and that they will send Daniel's work to him to see if he wants to write a blurb on it in the magazine. Daniel is excited. Neither Daniel nor Jana encourage or discourage Amber and Kevin as they work on their campaign to free Katherine.

Roger announces to Katherine, Clint, and Annie that he and Esther finally got married. Meanwhile, at the Chancellor mansion, Jill tells Esther that Roger is a bigamist and that he is a con man. Esther informs Jill she is talking about her husband, and that she doesn't believe anything Jill has to say. Later, Katherine begins to remember her friend Esther and becomes furious that Clint and Roger are using her to get to her money. She goes off on them, and Clint demands that Annie tie her back up before he leaves.

At the jail, Gloria learns that her trial starts this week. Jeff arrives and tells her he is leaving her for good this time. He implies he is going back to Korea to be with Kyon. Meanwhile, at the coffeehouse, Michael gets some news via phone that he says changes everything for Gloria. When Michael arrives at the jail, Gloria informs him she is feeling the pressure of her guilt and she feels like she needs to make a confession.

At the coffeehouse, Amber tells Victoria and Nikki that she is going to keep looking for Katherine. She expects Nikki to attack her, but to her surprise, Nikki tells Amber she isn't going to take away her hope. They both admit they think about Katherine everyday and think about what she'd do in different situations when they try to make decisions.

Jana hears from her art friend, and Daniel is disappointed when she tells him her art friend wasn't interested in his work. Amber tries to cheer him up. She suggests he go back to sketching for a while, but Daniel really wants to paint. Amber reminds him that his sketches sell. Later, Jana tells Daniel if he wants to pain, he should. She says he needs to listen to his heart.

Colleen admits to Victoria and Nikki she is scared to be taking on Victor at Newman. She says, however, that her dad never let a challenge or responsibility stop him, and she won't either. Nikki reminds Colleen if she wants validation from Victor, she will never get it. Colleen is adamant that she wants to sit on the Newman board of directors; she says she won't just agree with everything Victor says and will bring a new perspective. Victoria tells Colleen she'll show her the ropes, but she won't align with her against her father. After Colleen leaves, Nikki tells Victoria she might want to reconsider aligning with her.

After Clint has left, Katherine tries to get on Annie's good side by reminding her that she can be as strong as Katherine Chancellor. She tells Annie she doesn't deserve to be treated like a piece of furniture. She also says that men like Roger and Clint are despicable and that Esther doesn't deserve this. Annie admits she has been married to Roger before as well.

At the jail, Michael tells Gloria what he has found out from Paul. It turns the woman who supposedly died from the face cream not only had food allergies, but her son does as well. Paul was able to get his medical reports and determine that the food allergy actually killed Emma, not the face cream. Gloria is so thrilled to learn that she hasn't killed a woman, and that she might go free if they can get the product tampering charge reduced.

Jeff tries to seduce Jill. At first, she is shocked at his audacity, but in the end, she plants a kiss on him, then offers to sleep with him, no strings attached.

Cane Files for Divorce And Full Custody

The Young and the Restless update for Monday February 23, 2009:

Katherine tries to talk to Annie while she reads Katherine's memoir. Katherine asks Annie to let her stretch because the ropes are hurting her wrists. Annie tells "Marge" she deserves to die for impersonating Katherine and causing her family grief. Katherine asks Annie why Clint and Roger kidnapped her if they don't believe she is Katherine, but Annie doesn't give her an answer.

Clint meets Roger at a bar. He asks what is taking so long to marry Esther, and Roger assures Clint the marriage will happen. After Clint leaves, Paul overhears Roger's call to the County Clerk, asking to have the waiting period for a marriage license to be waived because his fiance's daughter is on her death bed.

Victor asks J.T. and Neil to try to convince Colleen to give up her seat on the Newman board and they both agree to do their best.

At the bus station, Ana uses Tyra's phone to call Neil to let him know they are in trouble. Neil hears Ana and Tyra have a conversation about how they are leaving Genua City on a bus, and how Ana doesn't want to leave.

Karen and Marisol search frantically for Ana and Tyra at the coffeehouse. When they can't find them, they call the police. The police issue an Amber alert for Ana and Tyra.

At Jabot, Jill is upset when Billy comes in smelling like alcohol. Billy is about to tell his mother about the baby when Cane walks into the office and beats him to it. Jill is shocked. Later, Jill tells Cane she knows some very good divorce lawyers, and that Cane can now wash his hands of Chloe and the baby. Cane tells his mother he will do the right thing.

Victor talks to Michael. He tells Michael to find a way to force Colleen out of her seat on the Newman board of directors.

J.T. asks Colleen why she wants the seat on the Newman board. He tells her he thinks she wants it to get back at Victor for the voicemail he left her dad, but Colleen insists she wants the seat to honor her father. Later, J.T. tells Victor Colleen isn't going to back down, so Victor decides it's time for him and Colleen to have a talk.

Chloe prepares to tell her mother about Billy being the father of her baby, but they are interrupted by Lily. Lily wants to check up on Chloe and the baby, but Chloe snaps at her. Billy arrives at the hospital, and Lily leaves.

Neil finds Tyra and Ana in the bus station. Neil convinces Tyra not to run away with Ana. They start to leave as Gil arrives. Neil lies to him, saying he asked Tyra and Ana to meet him there. Gil calls Marisol to call off the Amber alert and they agree to meet at Neil's apartment to discuss what to do from there.

At the hospital, Billy talks to Chloe. Cordelia begins to cry and Billy goes to calm her down. Chloe suggests Billy hold her and tells him how to do so. Cane peers through the hospital room window and sees Billy holding Delia. Cane calls Michael and asks him if they can meet later and that the matter is urgent. Chloe tries to tell Esther the truth about the baby's father again, but Roger interrupts. He tells Esther he got the waiting period for a marriage license waived and that he got a justice of the peace to come marry them in the hospital. Chloe thinks her mother is rushing into marriage, but Esther agrees to marry Roger that day in the hospital.

Cane and Lily sit down to have coffee. Lily apologizes again for not telling Cane about the baby's real father. Cane tells her he is done being lead by people in his life - he is going to make his own decisions from now on.

Victor meets with Colleen in his office and tries to get her to tell him who her mentor is. He tries to get her to back down from taking the seat on the Newman board as well, but Colleen doesn't budge. Later, Victor tells J.T. to find out who is manipulating Colleen and coaching her on how to take the seat on the Newman board of directors.

Paul tells Jill that Roger is a con artist and a bigamist. Jill becomes even more concerned for Esther when Paul tells her that Roger has made plans to marry her today. Jill tries to reach Esther with no success as her wedding ceremony starts.

Katherine tells Annie that Clint has kidnapped her before and that last time he did so, he went to prison. When Annie ties her back up, she does it more gently so the ropes won't hurt her as badly, but continues to show Katherine who is in charge by waving her large knife.

At Neil's apartment, Marisol tells Tyra and Ana that Tyra's actions violate the judge's order, so Ana must be moved to another foster home. Ana is scared and says she won't go to another home. Neil lies again, telling Marisol that he asked Tyra and Ana to meet him at the bus stop. Karen is furious at Neil for lying, but doesn't recant his story.

Cane tells Michael he wants to divorce Chloe and he wants to have full custody of Cordelia.

Tyra Kisses Niel - Again

The Young and the Restless update for Wednesday February 18, 2009:



Rafe informs Niel and Karen the court has terminated all of Yolanda's parental rights. Karen wants to start the adoption process right away, but Niel reminds her that he promised Yolanda she'd get a say in what happens.



Everyone is alarmed when the doctor tells them Chloe has septicemia and that her body could go into septic shock if none of the antibiotics work. Esther starts to break down and Jill tries to comfort her. Later, Chloe gets to meet her little girl with Esther, Lily, Billy, and Cane watching. Chloe says she is very tired, and after holding her baby for a moment, she hands her back to Cane. The doctor informs them he is going to incubate her so she can get more oxygen.



At Jabot, Ashley tells Jack Victor offered her Brad's empty board of directors seat. Jack wonders what Ashley told him in response, but she doesn't answer his question. Jack accuses Victor of using Ashley to get to him and splitting up the Abbott family, but Ashley insists Victor is not doing so.



Adam talks to the prison chaplain about his mother and his dad. He says he thought the day his mother died was the worst day of his life, but every day afterward has seemed worse than the one before it.



Victor sits in his office and remembers his last days with Hope. Later, Ashley tells Victor that while Adam has made mistakes, he needs his family, and Victor is the only family he has now. Ashley tells Victor Adam needs his father today, the anniversary of Hope's death.



Tyra talks to Olivia about Niel. She says she loves him and wonders if there is still a chance for her and Niel. Olivia tells Tyra she had her chance to tell Niel how she felt and that she needs to move on now because Niel is married and off limits.



Later, Niel confronts Tyra about her avoiding him and she said she still feels bad about the kiss. Niel tells her not to worry about it, and that it won't happen again.



At the hospital, Billy gets disgusted with the way Chloe and Cane are interacting with the baby. Lily lets Billy have it for all of his deceit and lies. She tells Billy he has to tell Cane the truth about the baby. She says if Billy doesn't tell Cane the truth, she will. Later, Cane asks Lily if there is something going on between Chloe and Billy, and she tells him he should ask his wife and Billy about that. Lily asks Cane if he meant what he said the other night - that he really wanted to be with her and work things out. Cane tells her he can't talk about that right now with her with Chloe being in the hospital and everything. Lily interprets this answer as a, "no," and is upset.



Billy goes to a bar and begins to get drunk in order to deal with his guilt. Jack arrives and tries to convince Billy he needs to tell Cane the truth. He says if he doesn't, Billy will just feel guilty for the rest of his life. He reminds Billy how much he dislikes Cane, and how he'd hate to see Cane raising his child.



Victor goes to visit Adam in prison and takes Hope's Bible to give to him. When Adam sees him there, he goes off on him. He is angry at Victor for not being there for him when he was growing up, and for not being there for him for all of the time he's spent in prison so far. Victor says he's impressed that prison has developed Adam's backbone, but warns him never to talk to him like that again. Victor leaves Hope's Bible with Adam before he leaves.



Ashley comforts Abby about missing Brad. Ashley tells Abby she still thinks about her father everyday, too. Mother and daughter seem to bond over their experiences.



Later, Victor and Ashley talk about Hope's death and Adam. Ashley is touched that Victor shares the information with her.



Cane tells Jill 24 hours ago he was ready to leave Chloe for Lily, but now that the baby is here, everything has changed. Jill tells him a baby changes everything. Later, Cane names the baby Cordelia Katherine Valentine Ashby.



Tyra tells Niel she wants to adopt Ana. She tells him about the hopes she had for herself and Ana when she moved to Genua City. She admits to Niel she wished he had fallen in love with her the way she fell in love with him. Tyra kisses Niel passionately, and Niel doesn't pull away. Neither one of them notice when Karen walks into and out of the room.



Adam asks Frank Ellis for his help.



Jack tells Billy to claim his baby girl.

Chloe Hemorrhages

The Young and the Restless update for Tuesday February 17, 2009:

Victor tells Nikkie Nick went home to spend the holiday with Phyllis and Summer. Nikki had forgotten it was Valentine's Day. She apologizes again for interrupting Ashley and Victor's intimate moment and turns to leave, but Victor asks her to stay. Nikki notices the office chair Victor gave Ashley and Victor informs her that he has offered Ashely the empty Newman board of directors seat. Nikki takes the news hard, but doesn't let Victor or Ashley see that. She congratulates Ashley and leaves.

Clint keeps telling Katherine the DNA test was negative, so she can drop the act, but Katherine keeps insisting she is who she says she is.

Jill talks with Paul about Esther's boyfriend, Roger. Paul hasn't been able to find anything on Roger yet, but he says he'll keep looking. Jill feels if she can stall the wedding for a few more days, Paul will be able to find out what Roger is hiding.

Roger tells Esther if they hurry, they can still get the last flight to Los Vegas to elope. Esther agrees, but says she needs to tell Jill where she's going. Roger tries to convince her to call Jill in the morning, but Esther insists she needs to tell Jill where she's going before they leave.

Cane introduces Chloe to her new baby. Lily piles blankets on top of Chloe and tells them the generator is out. Billy and Cane go to get wood, but Lily calls them back to show them how much Chloe is bleeding. Chloe is hemorrhaging. She gets scared when she sees how scared everyone else is for her. They prop her feet up to try to help her. Chloe keeps fading in and out of consciousness, and Billy and Cane try to keep talking to her to keep her present. Cane asks Billy to go out and try to call for help again. Billy leaves.

Esther and Roger stop at Jill's Jabot office to inform her they are headed off to elope. Jill tries to convince them to wait. Jill even reaches out to Esther, reminding her of the wedding she's always wanted. Jill says she'll even spring for the wedding and they can have it at the mansion. Esther tells Jill that is very sweet of her, but she still wants to elope. She says Jill can throw her a party when she gets back.

Clint and Annie discuss what to do with Katherine. Annie tells Clint if Katherine isn't rich, they should just kill her now. Clint says they need to keep "Marge" on ice until Roger marries Esther, then they can move into the mansion. Meanwhile, Katherine pretends to be sleeping.

At the cabin, Chloe finally goes into shock from all of the blood loss. Billy returns and tells Lily and Cane an ambulance can get to the main road, but they need to get Chloe down the hill themselves. They decide to use a toboggan to get her to the ambulance.

Jill is able to catch up with Roger and Esther at the elevator to tell them Chloe had the baby. Clint is not pleased when Roger calls to tell him the wedding has once again been postponed.

Nikki and Paul make love on Valentine's Day. Afterward, Nikki tells Paul she loves him and Paul tells her the feeling is mutual. She also admits that it did hurt her to know that Victor gave Ashley the seat on the Newman board because she has wanted it for so long and he never gave her a seat when they were married, even after she proved she was a good businesswoman.

Ashely isn't sure if she wants to take the seat on the Newman board. She isn't sure she should work for Jabot and be on the Newman board. She tells Victor she needs to run it by Jabot before she makes a decision, and Victor doesn't seem pleased with this.

At the hospital, Cane has to sign a consent form for Chloe to have surgery. The nurse puts a bracelet on Cane so they know who the baby's father is. Billy and Lily seem apprehensive all the while. After Chloe is wheeled into surgery, Jill, Esther, and Roger arrive. They are thrilled about the baby, but Cane informs them about Chloe. Esther is terrified. Later, everyone gets a chance to see the baby. A doctor tells them they were able to stop the bleeding, but he isn't sure it will be enough to save Chloe's life.

Katherine has a memory about Clint and asks him if he remembers what happened the last time he kidnapped her. She tells him what she did to him before the cops arrested him, and Clint is stunned. He finally believes Katherine is who she says she is.
