Nikki stops by the magazine to check on the progress. Nick invites his mom to join them for dinner, and Nikki is excited about it. However, she is displeased to learn that Adam will also be joining them.
Victoria calls to invite Sabrina to dinner, but gets her voicemail. Adam tells Victor he is headed out for the day. Victoria stops in to say bye to her father before leaving the office as well. Victor invites her to dinner, but Victoria informs him she already has other plans.
Daniel and Amber discuss what to do with the money in the coffee shop. When Kevin appears, Amber tells him that they were talking about how good the sex is between them. Then, Amber tells Kevin she and Daniel are now dating, and Kevin says Jana will be excited to hear the news. After he leaves, Daniel encourages Amber to turn the money over to the feds and to tell Kevin the truth.
Adam arrives at the GCAC and waits for the rest of his new family to join him for dinner. Nikki and David arrive first and talk with Adam while they wait for everyone else to get to the club.
Jana and Kevin watch Daniel and Amber. Kevin doubts that they are dating, but Jana is very enthusiastic and believes they are dating. Later, when Heather meets Daniel, Amber is very scared he will tell her everything about the money.
Sabrina and Victor run into each other at the gym. Victor invites her to dinner at the club, and she accepts.
Heather says that she had a great night with Daniel, but she feels his heart may be somewhere else. She tells him that even if the money were to reappear it probably wouldn't matter because the feds already closed the case on it. She tells Daniel that she is thinking about leaving Genua City.
Nick and Adam discuss big cities versus small towns at dinner. There is little talk from most of the other dinner guests.
Once Victor sees his entire family eating at the club, he says he has lost his appetite, but invites Sabrina to join them. Sabrina says she'd rather not, and he offers her a ride home, which she gladly accepts. They eat fast food back at the ranch where Victor tries to convince Sabrina to stay in Genua City longer.
After Heather leaves, Amber rushes back over to Daniel to find out what he told her. Daniel tells her what Heather said about the money. Amber begins crying and Daniel tells her to kiss him because they "have an audience" and need to look like they really are dating.
Nick gets a phone call from the electrician as dinner is ending. Adam and Phyllis talk while Nick takes the call. Phyllis compliments Adam for surviving dinner. He tells her that he doesn't care if the Newmans like him or not. Later, when Phyllis asks Nick how he thinks dinner went, Nick says Adam does not want to be a part of the family.
Victoria stops by the ranch after dinner. Sabrina tells her that she and Victor saw them having dinner at the club. Victoria thinks that seeing his family having dinner probably hurt Victor's feelings.

Update for Monday October 15, 2007
Sharon asks Nick to help her with Cassie's benefit. Nick hesitates because he doesn't know if it is a good idea since Jack found out about their kiss. Sharon and Nick go to Jack to ask his opinion and Sharon suggests that they could have the benefit in Jack's casino. Nick is opposed to the idea because Cassie's Challenge is against drinking and casinos are place where people typically drink.
Jack tells Daniel that his mother's appeal was denied. He adds that he plans to find Phyllis a new lawyer.
Cane asks Heather to dinner. She declines his invitation, but later, Maggie tells her life is too short to pass up great opportunities.
Daniel and Amber play basketball at the GCAC to reduce their stress. Cane and Heather join them on the court. They agree to play 2 on 2 for possession of the court. Cane and Heather win. Afterwards, Cane massages Heather's leg to help relieve a cramp.
Jack receives a phone call from the ethics committee. They have decided to postpone their meeting regarding Jack's actions indefinitely. Sharon and Jack are thrilled with the news.
Amber phones the record producer and tells him that she wants to produce her record. She tells him that she has inherited a large sum of money from a deceased relative. She goes to the storage closet she hid the money in at the GCAC and retrieves it.
Cane carries Heather back outside onto the basketball court to get the jacket she left outside. They kiss and Amber walks onto the court just in time to see it.
Maggie pays Jack a visit. She asks him if Jack and Ji Min did not have a physical confrontation, how did Jack's dog's hair get on Ji Min's clothes?

Update Tuesday Sept 18, 2007
Daniel and Amber watch horrified as Cane and Lily kiss.
Adrian and Colleen are talking when Colleen spots Daniel and Amber. She insists they leave immediately, but Amber refuses.
Lily pulls Colleen aside into Niel's office at Indigo and tells her about the kiss she and Cane shared. Colleen informs Lily that Daniel and Amber are at the party. Kevin enters and tells Colleen that Jana will not see him any longer at the mental hospital.
Neil and Karen star gaze. They nearly kiss, but they are interrupted.
Heather finds Cane and asks him to a movie. She says she wants to meet friends that have nothing to do with criminal justice. At that point, Kevin walks over to Heather and asks her to dance. She turns him down.
Niel returns to the office where he finds Devon working some kinks out of a project. They talk about Niel's relationship with Karen. Niel admits he misses Dru a great deal, but that Karen is intelligent and attractive.
Cane discover Lily with Colleen throwing up. He offers his help.
Amber runs off to find Cane. She finds him and tries to talk to him, but he reminds her that he wants nothing to do with her and that he doesn't even like her anymore.

The Young and the Restless Update for Friday Sept. 14, 2007
Victoria enters the office for the meeting she is supposed to have with Nick, Victor, and Nikki. She sees Nick's frustration as he tries to speak to Phyllis at the prison. She offers to go visit Phyllis for him, but Nick tells her she can't have any visitors.
Victor comes in for the meeting and he, Nick, and Victoria wonder where Nikki is.
Nikki is in bed with David when her cell phone rings. She tells Victoria that she cannot make the meeting.
Nick and Victoria decide they need to sit down as a family and try to get their mother and father to talk to one another. Nick convinces Victor to come to the meeting while Victoria convinces her mother to sit down with Victor to talk. Nikki insists that the meeting happen any day but the present day.
Victor meets Victoria and Nick at the GCAC to talk with Nikki, only to find out that Nikki will not be joining them. Victoria and Nick try to get their father to see Nikki's side of things to no avail.
Amber's evil side convinces her to keep the money. She comes up with a plan to convince the police that all the money has been burned. Amber sticks shredded currency and burnt one-hundred dollar bills into the air vent in JiMin's room along with a lit cigarette and waits for the fire alarm to go off.
Jill gets stuck in the steam room when the fire alarm goes off. Amber, hearing her call for help, manages to get the door unstuck and saves Jill.
Lily, Colleen, and Cane are planning the divorce party when Adrian joins them. When Cane gets more coffee, Colleen tells Lily he is checking her out.
Later, Cane runs into Heather at the GCAC and invites her to the divorce party. He flatters her with compliments as well.

Y&R update, Thursday Sept. 13, 2007
Nikki receives a silver card holder from David for her key to his hotel room. Nikki finally decides to use the key, after she and Victor have a fight in the GCAC gym, and she and David finally make love. After, while David is in the shower, Nikki reminisces about her past with Victor, the good times and the bad ones.
Noah asks Jack why anyone would want to make up things about him. Jack tells Noah that sometimes people want to make Jack look bad because he is a senator.
Sharon reprimands Jack for lying to Noah. John's ghost shows up and tells Jack that he agrees with what Sharon is saying Later, she and Noah are at the GCAC where a reporter asks Sharon to comment on the accusations made about her husband. Sharon simply states that she supports Jack. Noah, however, tells the reporter to "shut up" and to leave his mom alone.
Daniel returns to the room where he and Amber have been searching for the money they believe Ji Min to have stolen. Amber tells Daniel that she wasn't able to locate the money.
Kevin calls Daniel and tells him that Michael wants to have a meeting with him, Daniel, and Amber at the GCAC.
Michael informs Gloria that Kevin and Daniel will go to jail with Amber if Amber is unable to come up with the money she owes the government.
At the meeting, Gloria offers to loan Amber the money she needs to pay back the government, but Amber refuses to sign the loan papers Gloria had drawn up.
Later, when Amber returns to the hotel room, Carson is waiting for her. Amber throws him out and tries to decide what to do with the money she found earlier.
Gloria appears at Amber's room and tells her that she will give Amber the money she needs "no strings attached". Amber is thrilled with this news.
